Lisa sat there drinking, hoping to numb herself. But for some reason, the more she drank, the more clear-headed she became.

Frustrated, she waved over the waiter and asked, "Did you water down your drinks?"

"Miss, our drinks are all authentic and pure. We don't water them down."

"Then why don't they get me drunk?" Lisa shook her head as she spoke. "Never mind, I'm done drinking. I feel bloated and need to use the bathroom, yet my mind is still clear."

She stood up and walked out. Logan followed her, watching as she reached the door and stood there in a daze before finally crouching down.

He stepped over but didn't say anything. Lisa sensed someone nearby but didn't look up. Instead, she muttered, "I'm not drunk. I'm completely sober, so don't get any funny ideas."

Normally, after hearing that, most people would have left, but this person didn't leave.

Her face was buried between her knees. "You're not leaving, huh? Fine, I'll tell you a story.

"This story is totally bonkers. It's about a woman and her...uncle. Yeah, you heard that right." She treated the person beside her as a listener and began sharing her story with Logan.

"The woman always held onto her principles, believing they were family and couldn't cross the line. She rejected her uncle, but he was ruthless. He immediately found a girlfriend, and their relationship progressed quickly—they even moved in together. And then the ridiculous part happened. The woman started feeling uncomfortable, realizing she had feelings for her uncle too.

"But she couldn't ruin his relationship with his girlfriend, could she? So she just suffered in silence. Do you think she's pitiful or just getting what she deserves?"

Logan looked at the top of her head, listening as she poured out her heart. He felt both relieved and heartbroken. "Then why don't you go talk to him and tell him how you feel?"

Lisa frowned. Why did that sound like Logan's voice?
