12PM. Lunch time starts. I get up from my seat, walking away from my desk. A single voice is stopping me from continuing my steps. I turn around, smiling at Mr Park who is signalling me to enter his room again.
I sigh, stepping into his room. He gives me a few documents all of sudden. "Miss Jung, get these done by today. It's urgent." He commands, leaving his room without any words like 'do you want some lunch?'
I read the documents one by one, correcting the wrong phrases. It is his meeting's scripts. My stomach keeps growling when the clock shows a few minutes more for the hour hand of the clock to reach 1PM.
I put the documents back on Mr Park's desk, leaving his room. I see that all my co-workers already came back from eating lunch. The lunch time already over.
"Hana? Why you're still here? I thought that you went to the cafeteria." Woojin suddenly greets me, accidentally burps in front me.
"Park Woojin! It's disgusting tho.." I shrieked.
"You're really the same as Daehwi. Stop shrieking please." He closes my mouth with his manly palm.
EHEM! A sudden cough from Mr Park interrupts both Woojin and I. He stares at both of us like unsatisfied with something. "Park Woojin. Jung Hana. What are doing in front of my room? Is it a place to joke around?!" He raises his voice.
"Have you finished your works? If I saw something wrong inside, you'll be surely dead today." He adds.
Woojin quietly walks away to avoid any bad things happened to both of us. I gather up my courage, trying to ask him something. I keep calling his name, but he doesn't even turn around to look at me. I tug on his sleeve a bit, finally getting his attention.
Uh Oh! Maybe I'm wrong. He looks super-duper mad now. His face turns red, and his hands' veins popped out.
".. Mr Park.. It's not wrong for me to ask you but.. may I go to eat something for my growling stomach?" I bite my lip right away, still curious of what will happened later.
"Do you think I gave you work time to think that it's just a casual time?! Just get back to work! You're not going to die if you haven't eaten for a while. Stay until office works done!" He strictly throws his anger at me, walking into his room angrily.
Heol.. Am I doing such a huge mess until he became madly angry at me? Where is my flaw?
Two hours already passed, and an hour left for me to get something to feed my baby-like stomach. I can't stand it anymore. My gastric have comes. I curl my arms around my stomach to ease the pain. Sadly, the pain overtook my body. I feel so hungry plus painful.
Woojin passes my desk to go to the photocopy machine, but he stops over at me when he saw something wrong. "Hana.. What's wrong? You looked pale and sick. Do you want me to bring you to the nearest clinic?" He asks me.
"The neighbour? The boy that always wear sunglasses?" I ask her while munching on the food.
"But he said that he worked at the same department as yours.. He wears a black suit, for me he looked like a CEO. But why should a CEO live here right?" She chuckles at her own words.
I stop eating when I heard her explanation. That could make sense too. I never saw the new neighbour's face without the sunglasses. I quickly run to the highest house in the flat, knocking on the door continuously.
The door opened. So my guess is true..
.
.
Mr Park lives on top of my house?
