Ashley

I woke up and found myself in his embrace. I can't believe we slept together... that I trusted him enough. I tried to get out of his embrace, but he pulled me close. I thought he was definitely sleeping, but he opened his eyes and looked at me.

"Awake?"

"Y-yeah..."

He smiled and kissed my forehead leaving me really astonished.

"Don't get up so soon"

"Ah, it is 8 AM"

"We make the rules here"

I looked at him with a 'are you serious' face.

"Hey, don't make faces"

"Ah, you have changed"

"Oh, have I?"

"Yes!"

"Is it a good change?"

"Yes..."

"Then let it be"

I nodded. "So. How was your sleep?"

"Good, I guess" I replied.

"In my arms?"

Oh God, why is he talking such cheesy stuff?

"Y-yeah"

"Good"

I smiled at him. He looked at me. "So, you didn't explain to me why you said those words yesterday. Explain me now"

"Um..." I started thinking. "I... oh yeah. I received a call... it was from an unknown number... and when I picked it up... there was a distorted voice. I couldn't recognize it, but it was a he, I guess. He told me that I will have to say those words to you, or... they'll kill me... so I..."

"So you feared them more than me, you wanna say?"

"I... you were pretty good to me... guess that's why I did it... but I learned my lesson, Vincent..." I looked down as I couldn't see his eyes anymore.

"Really?"

"Yes..."

"But I didn't show any hate till now"

"Sometimes we learn only by warnings..."

"Okay. Let's find out who it was"

"Yes," I smiled. He believed me!

"Do you remember any details that might help us? Like the pronunciation of certain letters or words in a peculiar manner?"

"No, um... and even if there was something, you know, I was too scared to notice anything like that..."

"What else did he say?"

"He just said that and yeah, he told me he'll never contact me again if I did it and then the call ended..."

"Do you have the call log?"

"No... I remember it vanished as soon as the call ended..."

"Hm. It is all so suspicious"

"Yeah... but... Vincent"

I looked at him and he did at me. "You believe me, right...?"

He looked at me for a while and then nodded. "Yes. Because there is fear in your eyes, but not the one which people have when they lie-- rather the one which people have when they are unsure the other would believe the truth or not"

"You are so intelligent!"

He looked at me and I quickly realized what I spoke. How the hell can I speak that.

"What else do you expect?" I whispered. "You are so romantic"

"Shouldn't I be?"

"I didn't say that"

"Yes, you didn't" he smiled wider. "God, Ashy, you are so sweet and naive"

"Well, I am sweet but... naive?"

"Yeah"

"How?"

"It's just... you are!"

"That doesn't make sense!" I raised an eyebrow.

"Only to you"

"Means it's senseless"

"Only to you"

"So what's the point of saying it?"

"I speak things for me" he smirked. "You still don't hold that place"

"Oh, when will I?"

"When I will love you"

"When will you?"

He looked at me and then smiled. "Soon"

"Soon when?"

"Really soon"

"Any... time?"

"Anytime"
