"We're here," he said after exactly ten minutes.

I looked up at the massive building. "Come out" 

I nodded and got out of the car. He did something on his phone and then extended his hand towards me. I hesitantly took his hand. He smiled and then started moving. 

We kept on moving and as we entered the building, I could see the most beautiful wedding place ever. It was so awesome, so beautiful, that I... I almost forgot that this wedding is against my wishes.

"We still have some time, Ashy and I have a surprise for you" 

I looked at him confused. You know, such people don't give 'pleasant' surprises.

I nodded my head hesitantly. "Ok-Okay"

"Go in your room there" he instructed and I went to the room which had 'bride's room' written over it.

The room was also really beautiful. I looked at myself. The dress was really beautiful, but my face... well, I was kind of faded. The makeup was not fresh, and my face didn't look attractive.

I looked down. What should I do now? I am getting married. Ah! I never thought I would. At least, not this soon.

There was a knock on the door so I went and opened the door.

The person I saw... it... it melted my heart.

"Lara!" I hugged her.

She hugged me back. "Oh, Ashley! You scared the hell out of me! I-I missed you so much!"

I smiled and tears flowed from my eyes. I met Lara! I MET LARA!

I got a little away and smiled at her. She smiled back. 

"How are you? How have you been? You are fine, right? Don't tell me that he hurts you in any way, you know that he is the biggest Mafia boss, so beware! You always wanted--"

"Shh, Lara, I am fine! Look at me, do I look hurt?"

She looked and smiled widely. "I am glad"

"And you? How have you been?"

"I..." she looked down. "You didn't send the text, did you?"

"Which text?"

"The text saying you are okay and busy?"

"N-No..."

"Hm. I almost believed it was you. But I just yesterday got to know about everything... I was so scared for you until I came to know that I will get to meet you today. Didn't know he will not even tell you!"

I smiled at her. "Yeah... right"

"So... I-I will have to go back after your wedding, Ashley so look at me however long you want"

All the colors dropped from my face. "W-what? That is... so wrong!"

"I know. But let's be thankful that we got to meet once!"

I hugged her and cried. "I miss you so much, Lara!"

"I miss you too"

"Well..." she got away. "Will you let me be your maid of honor?"

"Of course! I will be so glad..."

She smiled. "That's good. I will be happy to help. Look, Ashley. Vincent doesn't feel bad from the heart. So, I am not very sad about this wedding. It's just... if this is our fate, your fate, then I think you should accept it because... you know, none can fight him"

She giggled. "Haha, thanks. Okay, it's almost time. Do you have your speech?"

"WHAT SPEECH!?"

She sighed. "Stupid, wedding speech"
