"You look exceptionally beautiful today"
She blushed a little and smiled. "Thanks, Vincent"
"Is something bothering you?" I wanted to at least try.
"Um... no, I mean... yes. But um... I just want you here and it will be fine"
"And I am here" I smiled at her words. It is right that she doesn't wanna open up about it. Why would she? It isn't something that couples should talk about. I mean, we aren't that close to talk about our past loves and exes. But she is at least not hiding her feelings and I am quite impressed by that fact.
"Oh Vincent, I love you so much"
I smiled at her. "I love you more, my wife"
Vincent
"So, are you sleepy?" I asked her.
"Nope" she got up. "Let me arrange the room first"
She opened up the suitcase and started arranging the things. I went to her and took out something too and helped arrange it. She was tired by herself too, I shouldn't just sit around.
After some time I saw that the things I arranged, she removed those and kept them somewhere else. She didn't say anything to me but rearranged every single thing I arranged.
"What's this Ashley?" I said, a little irritated by this. I did so much work but it all went in vain.
"Ah actually," she turned to me and smiled, a hint of evilness lurking. "I appreciated your efforts by not pointing out your mistakes, but I gotta correct them because the kettle should be near water and not on the dressing table and I will never ever find the comb if you keep it with the books"
I looked at her a little embarrassed. "Ah... I just tried to help"
"and I am glad"
I smiled and she smiled back. She is damn right, I didn't know where to keep the things anyway! I was just keeping them wherever I saw empty space.
"So now?" I asked her after we were settled and she sighed. "Now I am tired"
"Sleep then"
"Hm..."
She came and laid on the bed while I laid down beside her. Then I covered her with the blanket and looked at her.
I continued looking at her. She was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She is pretty, has a good nature, and everything that can make a girl perfect. What else can we expect from a girl? she loves me too and it's like... she is so perfect!
"Ah I really wanna sleep"
I heard her. "So sleep" I replied.
"With your constant staring?"
I blushed lightly and looked down. She is so cute. But tell me, girl, how do I take my eyes off such a pretty face?
"Well," I laughed. "That is something you have to bear with"
"No!"
I sighed. "Oh right..."
she smiled and took my hand. "So Mr. Smith"
I looked at her and raised my eyebrow. "Hm?"
"You look so cute" she made puppy eyes. "Really"
I looked at her shocked. Cute? No one ever said that to me. None.
"Cute?" I asked her again to confirm.
"Yup"
"But how?"
"what how, huh?"
I smirked and she looked into my eyes. I looked back into her beautiful hazel eyes. "Vincent. You have changed so much and I love you more every single day"
I kept a hand on her face. "Ashy, you have changed me and I love you for it more every day too"
We both blushed a little and smiled. I didn't know when I changed this much. From being a cold-hearted Mafia boss to someone whose heart melts just if she calls my name lovingly. I don't know what magic she knows or what trick she plays, but I am so captivated by her words and smiles and I can never ever escape. I don't know how to say this even, but she is and has become the most important person in my life in the shortest span of time. I don't see anyone else since I have had her.
She may think of herself as an ordinary girl but an ordinary girl can never have this effect on me. I am so in love with her.
