I went out of the ward and went to my car. I smiled to myself. Finally I got rid of that bastard. I can now focus on my business without any restrictions.

I started the car and drove to my company. I stopped it and started going inside when someone came to me.

"Hello, mam" he smiled warmly at me.

"Welcome back, Jason"

I went inside and everyone seemed happy. The biggest deal was gonna be ours as recently Brown's Association seemed to drown. Everything seemed perfect.

"At this rate, Brown's association would be left behind and we will get this deal!" one of my employees said.

"Yeah sure" I looked at her. "After all, we're the best"

They nodded and I went to my cabin. Jason came inside too.

"I am so glad to be back at your service" I heard him as I sat down on my seat.

"Likewise. You did a great job, Jason" I smirked. "You are the best personal assistant I ever had"

"Thanks, Ms. Heather. Now, should we start arranging for the celebration, as we are gonna get the deal for sure?"

"Yeah, go ahead. I want the party to be the biggest and the best till date. I want everyone in the world to know that it is us, The Blue Association, to win the biggest deal of the decade. That we're the biggest company"

"Cheers, Ms. Heather. I am glad we made it. The arrangements will take a week, and the party can be arranged next weekend"

"I look forward to it"

We both smiled. Even though Jason is quite not the rich guy I wish for, he is good. He is loyal and trustworthy. He is handsome too. I can really think of him as someone I have a potential future with.

I don't know how crazy this thought seems to him, so I am just gonna wait for him to make some moves. I may not make one, but I will surely give him clues.

He went out of the cabin and I sat back.

"Ashley" I heard Chris. I took a step back. I remembered his disgusting face. The way he had thrown me down on the floor that day without any reason. His words roamned in my mind once again as I heard his voice.

Unknowingly, a tear went down my eyes and he wiped it. I pulled away and went back.

"W-Why the hell are you here?" I asked, holding back my tears.

He looked to the side and again at me. "How can you love that monster?"

I looked in his eyes as anger flared in me. "Don't you dare call him that!"

"Why? Is he any better? He is the most ruthless man of the decade. Isn't that true enough?"

"It is not! He is the most caring person I have met!"

"Better than me?"

"Yes! Much better than you!" I spoke the truth. How can he expect me to say that he is better when he left me at my worst?

"Then why aren't you married?"

"I was"

"What happened?"

"Doesn't concern you as much"

"It does not. You know what, just get out!"

"I will not, Ashley. I know you don't wanna stay with him. Maybe you are forced to say all this"

"Never, Ash" he smirked at me. "Did you forget, I am your boyfriend?"
