I took a deep breath and calmed my nerves. I knew to get over all this, I needed to meet Lara. She will probably help me get over all this once again. 

I don't know what to feel right now. Maybe I should be happy that he loves me and that he is gonna come back and love me.

But I guess I would rather be sad that this all is happening to us.

I decided to call Lara. I don't know what was up, but I guess in all this, I didn't wanna take a chance to call her and ruin things. But I guess I can call her now.

I called her.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey? Ashley?"

"Y-yeah Lara!"

"Oh my God, how are you?" She seemed excited.

"I am good, Lara... how are you!?"

"I am great"

"That's... so good. I missed you Lara"

"I missed you too, but tell me, is it safe to talk to me?"

"Yes, it is, Lara... it feels so good to talk to you after so long..."

"Yeah... Now tell me seriously... How does he treat you?"

"Good... actually good. But now..." I sighed. "I wanna tell you everything but the phone is not trustable. How about you come, or maybe I will come there...?"

"Oh wow, sure. I will come tomorrow!" She sounded so happy. I love her so damn much. She is literally the example of the best sister one can have.

"Oh I am so excited!" I smiled.

"Me too!"

We talked for some more time. I knew all I had to do was wait. and I can do it with Lara. I think that Vincent will not have a problem with Lara nymore. 

The call ended and my mood was almost fine again. I was smiling. I was filled with positivity. Soon he will return too and then everything will be fine and happy. That is all I want now.

I got up and went to my room. I will be more okay after a good sleep.

Lara

I smiled at myself in the mirror and checked my dress once and started going once. I went to the door and took a deep breath.

I opened the door and I was dead shocked. What? Why?

"Ashley" I heard Chris.

I went out of the ward and went to my car. I smiled to myself. Finally I got rid of that bastard. I can now focus on my business without any restrictions. 

I started the car and drove to my company. I stopped it and started going inside when someone came to me.  

"Hello, mam" he smiled warmly at me.

"Welcome back, Jason"

I went inside and everyone seemed happy. The biggest deal was gonna be ours as recently Brown's Association seemed to drown. Everything seemed perfect.

"At this rate, Brown's association would be left behind and we will get this deal!" one of my employees said.

"Yeah sure" I looked at her. "After all, we're the best"
