Helen looked at Charles' serious expression and thought that he was going to say something important.
Consequently, he said he wanted a kid.
Helen was glad that she wasn't drinking water when he said this. Otherwise, she would have sprayed it all over his face. Helen's thoughts had gone astray.
Realizing that she was lost in thought, Helen immediately regained her senses and said, "Uh ... why did you suddenly mention this?"
Helen White asked curiously. He hadn't touched her for more than two months, and his sudden change surprised her.
Charles looked into Helen's clear eyes as if he had forgotten the three children he had killed. However, he knew that she would also never forget them, just like him.
Charles lowered his head and said in a hoarse voice, "Let's have three children."
Noticing that Charles did not answer her question directly, Helen suddenly understood.
It seemed that his heart was filled with guilt towards the three children.
"Okay."
Helen reached out and hugged the man in front of her. She stroked his hair, which was bristly, but it felt good.
She said lightly, "They are three children. You mustn't think they are annoying in the future!"
"How could I think like that?" Charles looked up at Helen, moved his head closer and kissed her, then gently pressed her on the bed.
The night was full of beauty dreams.
The next day, Charles woke up refreshingly. After holding it for so long, he could finally release his desires. Last night, he was a little unrestrained, so Helen still hadn't woken up yet.
Looking down at the woman who was still asleep, he recalled the madness of last night. He swallowed down saliva, kissed the sleeping beauty, got out of bed and headed straight to the bathroom.
After washing up, Charles Martin felt energetic. He returned to the bedside, patted Helen's cheek and kissed her again without waking her up. Then he turned around and left the room, telling the servants not to disturb her.
Charles did not go to the company. Although today was a working day, Charles felt that it was like his honeymoon. So he intended to take a day off. Besides, he wanted Helen to see him when she woke up.
Charles went downstairs for breakfast and asked the servants to slowly cook the porridge. This way, when Helen White woke up, she would be able to eat it right on time.
Then, he went to the study and moved all the files and computers to their bedroom.
He sat quietly on the balcony where he could see the sleeping beauty on the bed as long as he raised his head.
He really couldn't focus right now because he would look up and check her from time to time and he really wanted to go to bed with her.
The assistant hurriedly returned to his desk and e-mailed a few photos to Charles. There were panoramas and close-up pictures of everyone.
The Wilson Group had huge reputation and the cooperation they had previously discussed with the Martin Group was also canceled, which drew the attention of many financial reporters. When the Country M group stepped into the building of the Wilson Group, the reporters received the news and rushed over, waiting at the gate for the people to come out.
Charles glanced at Helen, who was not showing any signs of waking up. He turned around, turned on his computer, opened his email, and browsed the enlarged HD photos on his computer.
Sure enough, his guess was correct. It was him.
He looked into the distance and said, "Is that you?"
Charles muttered to himself.
"What?" The assistant asked.
"Nothing. Is there anything else you want to report to me?" Charles Martin asked.
"Nothing."
"Notify everyone that we will hold a meeting at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning."
Charles Martin enjoined in a calm voice, as if the incident just now didn't have any impact on him. After saying that, he hung up the phone.
