Hanging up the phone, Charles turned around and noticed the person on the bed move. Then he hurriedly opened the glass door and walked in. He thought that Helen was waking up, but she just rolled over and went back to sleep.
Charles was speechless. It seemed that Helen was going to sleep until noon. After tucking her in, he turned around and went back to the balcony.
He sent an email to a disposable mailbox.
On the other side, a man who was at a bar in Country C received the email on his phone. A trace of shock flashed in his eyes. He wondered what Charles would ask him to do.
In the file attached to the email, there was only a picture of a man.
York glanced at it with a slight frown. The email was still as clear and concise as ever. There was even no word.
His phone suddenly vibrated. He was completely helpless. The phone could no longer be used. When he clicked on the email, the disposable mailbox had already been infected with a virus, which destroyed the file and ... his phone.
York finished the wine, put the money under the glass, turned around, and left the bar. He randomly found a phone booth outside, went in, and dialed a number. Just as he got through, the man on the other side said one word in a calm tone, "Country M."
Without saying anything else, the man hung up the phone. York was so angry that he even wanted to smash the phone. However, damaging public property for no reason was an offence in Country C. He dared to do so in the past. However, now he was going to Country M soon. There was no time for him to be imprisoned. In fact, he preferred to be imprisoned rather than go to Country M!
Looking up at the sky, York could only accept his fate with resignation. He booked the latest flight and went to the airport without any luggage because he planned to buy it when he got there. He didn't have to pay for it anyway.
...
After sending the email, Charles already knew that York would call him. So, he sat in his chair and waited quietly. He turned to look at the person on the bed whose back was facing him. Soon his phone rang. He answered it but hung up immediately after saying one word "Country M".
He knew York was capable, so he could wait for good news. Fortunately, he had cajoled York into working for him back then. Now York finally came in handy.
Furthermore, Charles felt that the consortium that had intercepted him would not stop. He was sure that there would be a fierce storm next.
However, his road to such a prosperous company was not that smooth over the years. He had experienced all sorts of dangerous situations. This time, it was just another unexpected situation. The consortium was actually against him! Thinking of this, Charles sneered with a determination to let them suffer.
However, on second thought, he doubted how they knew that the Martin Group would sign the contract with the Wilson Group today, and even knew the exact time.
It seemed that there was a mole in his company!
Hearing Charles' laughter, Helen became even more embarrassed. Moreover, she was still naked. There were people outside. How could she not be ashamed?
Again Charles stretched out his hand to pull her out, but she did not come out and even let him out.
Charles knew that Helen was shy. So, he lowered his head and whispered in her ear through the quilt, "Darling, I've already seen your body. You don't need to be so shy. Get up! The sun is shining on you."
As he spoke, he gently patted Helen's butt, scaring her so much that she slid farther under the quilt.
And she said loudly, "Get out, get out! You go out first!"
Her voice sounded muffled through the quilt.
Charles was afraid that she would be suffocated, so he turned to the balcony and closed the curtains. Before he went out, he said to Helen, "I'm going out. Get up quickly. Otherwise, I'll help you get dressed."
Hearing Charles' words, Helen revealed her head from the quilt. Noticing the curtains had been closed, she hurriedly got up from the bed, despite the pain on her body. She quickly put on her clothes, afraid that Charles would suddenly come in.
