The moment Noelle opened her eyes, she saw Carl standing before her in his white coat. This scene was identical to her previous life when she had lain on the operating table. Back then, they had removed one of her kidneys.

When she had awakened at that time, Carl had said the exact same words to her. "You're going to be fine now. The surgery is over."

Noelle's expression instantly transformed into one of terror as she desperately tried to escape from the operating table.

After hearing Noelle's words, Cedric looked up at Carl with murderous intent in his eyes. However, his tone remained gentle as he said, "It's alright, Noelle. No one will come near you."

After a while, Noelle finally calmed down but then lost consciousness. Cedric carefully removed the IV needle from the back of her hand and cradled her in his arms. He looked at Andrew and asked, "Did they do anything else to her just now?"

Andrew shook his head. "No, they followed the procedure exactly."

He could say this with certainty.

Cedric nodded and turned to Carl. "Why is she so afraid of you? What exactly did you do to her?"

Carl stood frozen in place, looking at Noelle in disbelief. He tried to reach out to touch her face, but Cedric pulled her back, keeping her away from him.
