Noelle was shocked as well when she saw Mia's message. As far as she knew, Mia's father was said to have been in an accident and did not have anything to do with Ivy.

Mia continued, "We suspected Ivy for it back then, but since she did not really gain anything from my father's death, along with us unable to find any evidence pointing toward her, the matter was eventually dropped.

"But if she's the mastermind behind PZ Group, then she must've already been plotting something from when she first approached my father. Perhaps my father discovered what she had done."

She had always suspected that her father did not die of natural causes.

She never gave up on the investigation of her father's demise over the years, but she never managed to find any leads or any suspects.

Now that Mia had learned about Ivy's true identity, everything suddenly made sense.

After reading Mia's message, Noelle began to analyze the situation.

"That's true. Mia's father died very suddenly, but his will ensured that he left nothing to Ivy. Maybe Ivy was afraid that he had actually uncovered something, so she kept a low profile and didn't try to fight over the inheritance."

Cedric narrowed his eyes. "But nothing happened over all these years. It means that Mia's father didn't have the time to pass on what he had discovered and only managed to alter his will."

"Even so, Ivy still found a way to trick Mrs. Cantrell and take away all the money."

Upon examining the bigger picture, they discovered that Ivy was an extremely calculating individual.

It was most likely the case that Ivy tried to murder Mia to silence her out of worry that Mia might have discovered something from investigating Cyrus. It was the exact same method as she had killed Mia's father back then.

Mia sent another message that read, "I'll try to keep Ivy thinking that everything's fine so she doesn't get suspicious. She's just trying to drive a wedge between us so that she can isolate me from you all."

Noelle replied, "Great. We'll put up a show for her. We've already made the necessary arrangements on our end. We'll definitely stop Ivy's ridiculous scheme."

She then looked up at Eugene and asked, "Did Mr. Coal say anything? Has PZ Group contacted you to get him back yet?"

Eugene explained, "He's probably not going to say anything even if we asked. We need to beat him up and tell him that he can pay his way out.
