Noelle's eyes flickered. "I really was tired just now."

Cedric replied, her voice hoarse. "Then sleep a little longer. I haven't rested in ages myself."

Noelle paused what she was doing and looked at him. In the end, she decided to let him be. She knew just how exhausted she had been lately.

She also knew that he had done a lot to help her. Noelle did not argue further. She leaned into his arms and drifted off to sleep once more.

It had been a while since she lazed in bed.

Both of them fell back asleep for some time before finally being woken up again by a phone call. Cedric answered the call with a hoarse voice right after waking up. "Alright, got it."

Noelle opened her eyes as well. "You should get going. They're probably looking for you."

It was only then that Cedric got up and headed into the bathroom for a shower. He glanced at himself in the mirror and splashed himself in the face with cold water.

If he did not get out of bed now, he might not want to get out of bed at all. He wiped the water off his face as he realized that it was the very first time he had ever wanted to laze in bed.

Cedric decided that once everything was over, he really needed to reward himself with a vacation.

Magnus had been showing signs of rapid improvement, after all. Cedric believed that Magnus would soon be able to handle things on his own.

Noelle turned over on the bed as she listened to the sound of water from the bathroom. She then rubbed her own face as she thought about what happened last night.

She then pulled the blanket over her face. She felt that her life had been going pretty well recently. Being able to be with someone you love was definitely something to be happy about.

Noelle really liked her life now, to be able to wake up and see Cedric first thing in the morning.

Her phone received a notification, and she picked it up to see that Grace had sent her a message. "Laura's infamous now. She became a pyramid scheme ringleader.

"One of my relatives got involved in the scam and even tried to rope in the rest of the family to do the same at family gatherings. Isn't that basically just recruiting for their downline?"

Mia chimed in on the group chat, "Yes, it's exactly that, a pyramid scheme.
