When Noelle saw that Laura's friend was about to attack her, she immediately reacted to the attack by grabbing the lady's wrist. She stared at Laura coldly.

Noelle looked at Laura and sneered. "So you've fallen this low, huh? Tsk tsk."

Laura's eyes were filled with mockery. "You'd better not stoop to the level of childish squabbles yourself. It'd be bad for your reputation if word gets out about this."

"I don't really care about that, but you, Ms. Merlock— Oh right, the Merlock family has already gone bankrupt, so your family name hardly holds any weight now. Your reputation is already down in the dumps as it is."

Just then, Laina walked up to Laura and said, "Ms. Merlock, you're here."

Laura replied, "I heard that you've got new bags in the store. Show them to me."

"Of course, Ms. Merlock. Please have a seat over here and wait for a moment."

Laura grew a little impatient. Why do I have to wait? Hurry it up!"

She then brought her group of friends to the couch and immediately started snapping photos like crazy, as if she were afraid that nobody would know she had come into contact with a Hermes bag.

Noelle cringed as she watched from the side. Just then, both Mia and Laina walked over to her.

Laina whispered, "Ms. Merlock comes in here all the time, but she never buys anything. She's got quite the troublesome temper, too."

Mia chuckled. "She used to be a regular here, after all. Her lifestyle has changed drastically, and she couldn't bring herself to let it go. If she wants to maintain her online image, she'll have to make it appear as though she's still spending money lavishly as usual. But given her current income, there's no way she could actually afford to spend this much money."
