Blake watched Noelle leave with a relieved smile. He could tell that Noelle's attitude toward him and the rest of the brothers had softened quite a bit, unlike before.

Frank walked up to him and said, "Blake, I have to admit that your methods actually worked. Noelle would've stayed as far away from us as possible if we had stuck to the same old ways. She wouldn't have even given us souvenirs otherwise."

Noelle's change in demeanor toward the Liddell brothers left Frank overjoyed for several days.

Once she got in the car, Cedric said, "I've had my team accelerate their research progress. You'll soon not have to go back to the Liddells to get their help on the antidote.

Cedric knew that Noelle was only doing this for his sake.

Noelle replied, "I've already told you that I'm not forcing myself to do this. It's just that Carl's temper is rather unpredictable, so the sooner your team can conduct the research for the antidote independently, the better."

Based on what she knew about Carl, he could change his mind at any given moment.

Cedric held Noelle in his arms, but he still felt rather displeased inside.
