Noelle turned back to Cedric and urged, "Let's return to the hospital. You're not in the best state to stay out too long."

Cedric held her hand and asked in concern, "Are you hurt?"

"No, I'm fine. Nothing could've happened with Eugene around," Noelle replied, shaking her head.

Clicking his tongue, Eugene stared at Cedric and commented, "You don't have to act tough with how weak you look right now."

Cedric raised a brow and shot back, "If it weren't for me, you'd all still be trapped in there."

That was true, and Eugene could say nothing to fight back. Noelle began pushing Cedric's wheelchair as she said, "Let's head back to the hospital."

"We can handle the rest here. You two should leave," Mia replied.

Eugene held her hand and reassuringly said, "Ivy's caught, and there's not much more she can do now."

Noelle nodded. "Exactly. It's finally over, and hopefully, we'll be able to recover the money soon." With that, she left with Cedric.

When they got in the car, Cedric looked at her and disapprovingly said, "Why'd you risk your life like that? Do you not know how far Ivy will go when cornered?"

Noelle didn't answer. Instead, she threw her arms around him, and her eyes welled up with tears. "You're okay and woke up; that's all that matters," she whispered.

Cedric wrapped his arms around her and murmured, "Of course I did. I had to do it for you, and I'll always fight with everything I have."

"I knew you would, and that's why I kept waiting," she said, leaning into his arms.

"It's all over now. You did really well."

"That's because we planned ahead, and there wasn't much to worry about. But there were still some unexpected dangers, like when Xenia accidentally exposed Ivy's identity, and Ivy nearly took Mia hostage. Thankfully, we reacted fast and got her out safely."

Noelle recounted everything that had happened while Cedric listened intently to all the dangers she had gone through, though he remained worried about today's events.

As he held her tighter, he suggested. "Let's take a vacation at the beach once everything's over."
