Revenge was the top priority, after all. With Cedric on their side, there was no reason not to use his help.

Noelle replied, "I've really underestimated just how shameless you all can be. If we don't find Xenia again, you'd better think about what you're going to tell our dead parents."

Frank was at a loss for words for a while before replying. "I'll give you an explanation for this matter later. I've already sent out our men to look for her. We should be able to locate her soon. Even if it was the Merlocks who had taken her away, they should be coming to negotiate with us very soon."

"Are you so sure?"

"Sean's still in your hands after all. If the Merlocks wish to make peace, they'll have to come to us for the negotiation to happen."

Noelle snorted and replied, "Guess you've thought this through, Frank."

The Liddells were all extremely smart and witty when it came to taking advantage of others.

Frank replied, "We're all in the same boat, Noelle. In the end, we'll have to stand together."

She replied coldly, "Well, I don't really care about the lives of any irrelevant people, so don't come to me with any unrealistic requests."

Wyatt turned to Frank and said, "Frank, we have to protect the child in Xenia's belly no matter what. You know just how important the baby is to me."

Frank retorted, "You must've lost your mind, Wyatt. The child may be important, but could it possibly be more important than avenging our parents? Don't forget that your legs ended up broken because of the car accident as well.

"If Mom and Dad were still alive, our family would've been much more powerful than we are now. Nobody would have dared to hurt you if that were the case."

Wyatt was left speechless for a short while before replying. "But what's done is done. I'm already crippled now. I don't care; I just want my child to be safe and sound. I'm sure Mom and Dad would understand me if they're still alive."

Noelle was enraged. She glared at him and replied, "Then you might as well just die and be done with it!"

Frank had long realized the gravity of the situation, but he did not expect Wyatt to be so oblivious to it all.

He looked at Noelle apologetically and said, "It's my fault. I should've stationed more men to look after Xenia. Maybe this wouldn't have happened if I had done that."

He realized that he should never have trusted Wyatt with it.
