It was only then that Noelle realized that there was someone else in the Liddell family who had already known about it all along.

Donovan and Frank were not far apart in age, so it was not surprising that Frank was also aware of it.

She stared at Frank and said, "Donovan wanted to give someone with a criminal record a second chance in life, you say? His attempt to make himself look like a saint only ended up with getting both Mom and Dad killed!"

"Donovan was young and naive back then," Frank replied.

"So you knew about all of this, Frank. Then why did you just stand by and watch while everyone pointed fingers at me? Why didn't you say anything back then?!"

"That's because I didn't know Sean was the murderer back then."

"You never once suspected that there was something off about him?"

Frank was left speechless for a moment before replying. "Noelle, I'm sure you know that the Liddell Corporation was in trouble after Mom and Dad died in the car accident.

"We didn't have much time to look into what happened, and the police had concluded that it was an accident. We never expected that the car accident was actually a plan to kill our parents."

"You never expected this! You never expected that! Is that all you ever say?!"

Growing anxious, Frank stepped forward and grabbed Noelle's hand. "Noelle, that's not what I meant."

"Let go of me," Noelle replied.

She took a few steps back to look up at him and continued, "Turns out you're even more of a hypocrite than Donovan, of all people!"

Donovan was an extremely selfish person, and Frank was actually not that much different.

Frank was in anguish as he replied, "If I had known that there was something wrong with Sean, I would've stopped Donovan from bringing him into the Liddell family, Noelle."

Noelle looked up at him with disappointment. "Nobody needs excuses made from hindsight! The most important thing right now is to find Xenia. You'd better hope that she didn't fall into the hands of the Merlock family and just somehow managed to run away on her own."

If Xenia had simply escaped on her own, they would have been able to find her very soon. She had escaped without a penny to her name, after all. She would not last long before being found if she had run off all by herself.
