Xenia looked nervously at Noelle. "I-I guess I completed the task, right?"

But Noelle didn't look pleased as she turned and walked off without a word. Frank and Donovan quickly followed.

Wyatt stayed behind and glanced at Xenia. "I've been coming here with you these past few days. You'd better get your dad to talk about the evidence."

Xenia had wanted to put on an act of pity, but Wyatt didn't bother to spare her a kind word. A flash of unwillingness crossed her eyes as she vowed to leave the Liddells without looking back once she had the baby and got the money she deserved.

Outside, Noelle walked to her SUV. She turned to Frank and Donovan and said, "We can't trust Mr. Q. There's no telling if that so-called evidence exists."

"I think it does. If it doesn't, he and Xenia are doomed once it gets exposed," Donovan replied, seemingly unbothered.

Frank nodded. "Exactly. I agree with Donovan, but why is Mr. Q insisting on Cedric testifying? Is he worried the Greenes will side with the Merlocks?"

"Seems like it, but I think there's more to it than that," Noelle said, feeling a little uneasy.

"Noelle, I think you should talk to Cedric. He was at the scene, so he should testify in court."

"I know, but make Xenia useful. She's not here to freeload," Noelle said, glancing over. She said that loud enough for Xenia to hear.

Donovan looked back at Xenia and demanded, "Figure out where the evidence is."
