Later, Grace and I had our wedding as planned.

"Liam, I do," Grace said shyly, her face glowing with happiness.

I looked at her with deep affection, my heart overflowing with emotion. "Grace, thank you. Thank you for always being by my side. From now on, I’ll spend my life protecting you and loving you."

Just as we were about to exchange rings, a commotion suddenly broke out.

A disheveled woman burst into the wedding venue, her hair in disarray, clothes tattered, and face streaked with tears and desperation. In her hand, she clutched a bloodstained knife.

"Liam, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry..." the woman sobbed, her voice choking with emotion. "I was wrong, I was so wrong..."

I was stunned—it was Emma!

"Emma, what are you doing here?!" I shouted, my face flushed with anger. "This is my wedding—you’re not welcome here!"

Emma dropped to her knees, sobbing uncontrollably. "Liam, everything that happened before was my fault. Please, forgive me!"

"Liam, I killed them—I killed all those men who hurt you. I’ve avenged you!"

I froze, my mind blank. Emma had killed? She actually murdered those lovers of hers?
