"I just wanted you to know I missed her once, but fate gave me another shot, even if it's just a dream. It means everything. I'm trying to change, but maybe I still don't know how to really love someone," Juan said.

All he could do was protect Debra as her fiancé, shielding her from harm. Maybe his approach was wrong, but it was the best he could come up with.

"You're wrong," she said. "Even if you love someone, you shouldn't change who you are. Losing yourself for someone else is sad. Everyone loves differently. If she couldn't handle it, maybe you weren't right for each other. But someone out there will get your kind of love."
