Garrett chimed in with agreement, "And consider Reid—he didn't join the family company; he chose to start his own tech venture. It's a different path from ours, did we give him any special help?"

Garrett answered, "Josie, you're back just in time. I was thinking about toughening up Lena by having her manage a company, start small just like you did. But Lena thinks we're trying to kick her out."

Josefina realized Garrett was putting her suggestion into action. Great, she'd support this wholeheartedly!

Hattie continued, "The company's a bit out of the way, so we thought Lena could stay in the dorms, lead by example, manage the company. Lena thought we were sending her away, I never imagined our good intentions would be so twisted by her."
