Feeling the woman in his arms grow steadily more relaxed, Tyrone finally allowed himself to move further.

That night, Alicia's mind felt utterly blank—every painful memory and shadowy regret banished as if they belonged to someone else. There was simply no room for anything else.

She didn't even have the luxury of worrying about other things.

Alicia couldn't help but wonder, just for a moment, if Tyrone had really never been with another woman before. Where on earth had he learned to be so skilled?

"Are you uncomfortable anywhere?"

Even afterwards, Tyrone didn't just turn away and ignore her. Despite the late hour, he scooped her up and carried her into the shower, holding her gently as he asked if she felt alright.

Alicia wished she could disappear. Embarrassed, she buried her face in Tyrone's shoulder and shook her head.

Tyrone just chuckled softly and kept her close, washing her with careful hands.

Maybe she was still too sensitive, but even the lightest touch from him made her entire body tremble.

"Don't worry, I'm done for tonight," Tyrone said bluntly, trying to reassure her.

Clutching his arm, Alicia's voice was barely a whisper. "Do you think I'm... too easy?"

They'd only been married for a few days, and here they were, doing this already.

Sure, it was all part of the plan—fulfilling their obligations, ticking off some invisible box—but still, they'd only just signed those papers.

"You're my wife," Tyrone replied, matter-of-fact. "What married couple waits so long after tying the knot? Is the wedding night supposed to be all about small talk?" He sounded almost irritated at himself, as if he should've coaxed her into bed the day they got their marriage license. No wonder he'd been so frustrated since then.

Alicia stammered, "But... we don't even have a real relationship."

They'd gotten married on a whim, after all—a contract, not a love story that blossomed into marriage.

"We can start building one now."

Tyrone finished washing her, wrapped her in a towel, and carried her back to bed.

Alicia felt lightheaded, almost dizzy. For a split second, she could almost believe the sweet words Tyrone whispered to her. She could almost believe... Maybe Tyrone actually cared about her.

But that was impossible.

She only needed to do her part—get pregnant with Tyrone's child—and then, after her grandfather passed away...

"Go to sleep."

That night, Tyrone held Alicia as they slept.

The next morning, when Alicia woke, Tyrone was still asleep.

He'd cleared his entire schedule for the day, planning to show her around Harboridge City.

Alicia reached out, lightly touching Tyrone's face, unable to look away. He really was dangerously handsome.

"How about we try again today?" Tyrone grinned, pulling her closer. "Might as well boost our odds, right?"

Alicia blushed all the way down her neck, mumbling, "You've been awake this whole time…"

Tyrone looked down at the shy woman burrowing into his arms and smiled. "I've already been downstairs, finished my workout, showered, and ordered us breakfast."

Alicia blinked in surprise. Had she really slept that deeply?

"You should get moving too," Tyrone said, gently pinching her cheek before leaning in for another kiss.

He used to think he was indifferent, practically celibate. Now he realized he was anything but.

After all, she was his wife.

And right now, all he wanted was to devour her whole.
