Chapter 751
That night, Bradley finally got his wish and openly moved into Cameron’s room.
Even though it was just an engagement, Jacqueline went all out to decorate Cameron’s room herself.
The carpet was covered in fragrant red roses, the bed was made up with a comforter, and colorful streamers floated from the ceiling. The whole place radiated pure joy and celebration.
Bradley stood at the doorway, holding Cameron’s hand, his eyes twinkling with laughter behind his gold–rimmed glasses. He gave her fingers a gentle squeeze. “Cam, I can’t help but feel like tonight is our wedding night.”
Cameron laughed softly, “I honestly have no idea why Mom decorated the room like this.”
It really did look just like a newlywed’s room.
Bradley lifted her hand and pressed a gentle kiss to the back of it. “Maybe your mom has already completely accepted me as your future
husband.”
Cameron pulled him into the room. “She already did, from the moment they let you move in with us.”
Bradley smiled, locked the door, then lowered his head and kissed Cameron on the lips. With one hand, he reached out and switched off the lights.
Cameron lifted her arms and hooked them around his neck, responding to his kiss. Bradley’s kiss grew increasingly passionate, almost out of
control.
Just as his hand moved to undo the frog buttons on her gown, Cameron stopped him.
“Brad?” she said, her breath a little unsteady.
“Yeah?” he replied.
“I need to shower first,” Cameron said.
“How about we do it together?” Bradley murmured.
Bradley paused for a couple of seconds, then, in the darkness, he swept Cameron up into his arms.
Cameron’s fingers clung to his shirt, a little hesitant. “Are we really going to shower together?”
Bradley chuckled softly. “Getting shy now?”
In the darkness, Cameron just smiled quietly.
Without another word, Bradley carried her straight to the bathroom. He set her down on the bathroom counter in the dark.
The next moment, he turned on the light.
But Cameron immediately switched it off. “Leave it off.”
Bradley laughed, “Getting shy, Cam?”
Cameron jumped down from the counter. “I’m just not used to this.”

Chapter 751
She’d never actually showered with someone else before.
Bradley let his hand fall to the collar of her gown. “Don’t worry. You’ll get used to it soon enough.”
Cameron couldn’t even find the words. She honestly thought that when Bradley suggested showering together, he really just meant taking a shower.
She hadn’t expected that even after living for over a thousand years, she still hadn’t cracked the code on what men were really thinking.
Cameron lay on the soft, comfy bed in her pajamas. Bradley was snuggled up close behind her, his arms wrapped around her. Her eyelids were getting heavy.
Bradley tightened his hold on her. “Cam, when I didn’t see you on the rooftop of the hotel today, I was so scared my legs almost gave out.”
