She looks at me, making sure I’m done coughing before returning to her seat.

“The Academy makes sure to keep clear lines for students and their partners. Partners are not required to do anything they aren’t

comfortable doing. It’s the student’s responsibility to make their partner as comfortable as possible.”

“And then make them come as often as possible,” Sebastiana says with a gleam in her eyes. I nearly choke again, but this time I get the drink down.

“You’re saying that if you and Shane are partners in the Academy…”

We talk for nearly two hours. Mostly Sebastiana talks, while Alpha Christina listens and asks questions. They ask me some questions about my parents, and I find that it helps to talk about them.

When the door opens and Alpha Sebastian steps in, I look up, realizing that the time has flown by. Alpha Sebastian steps back out and calls out to Christian. A moment later he walks in.
