"Don't apologise,you do what you need to do to get through this."He smiled lightly."I'm here for you-You and your brother."

But for how long?

My brother set the drinks down on the table and slipped into the booth next to me."They're going to bring over the menus. Where's Jeremy tonight,Ness?"

I guess this is when I make an excuse for why I didn't bring my new Husband to dinner."Um,Well we were away for a couple of days so he has a lot of work to catch up on."

"That man and his work."Finley shook his head."He's definitely one of those workaholic types. Everytime I see him he's making phone calls or he's sending emails."

"He's dedicated to his career,he can't be faulted on that."I took my menu from the servers hand and placed it down in front of me. I didn't even tell Jeremy where I was going tonight,I didn't bother asking him to come and play the role. It's just easier that he doesn't.

"Well I certainly would like to get to know your new husband before I leave town,Nessy. Maybe dinner?"He asked.

I looked up from my menu."Before you leave town-When do you leave?"I was worried and dreading the answer,I was hoping that he wasn't thinking about going back.

"Next week unfortunately."My Uncle Nate sighed."I wish I could stay with you both longer,believe me I want to. But I have to get back."

That's definitely not the answer that I was hoping for. I know it's selfish of me to want him to stick around just because I like having him close. Having him here makes me feel safer, it makes me feel okay.

I walked in the front door,flicked off my heels and walked towards the stairs. The lights were out and it was darkness all around me except for some lighting on the landing. It was on the later side, just after eleven so Jeremy could possibly be asleep.

I walked towards his bedroom door and saw that it was wide opened,which was unusual for him. I guess that's my invitation. I looked into his room and saw him sitting on his bed in just a pair of light grey shorts and a laptop on his lap.

I leaned against the door frame and watched him as he worked. It had me thinking back on the times he's pleasured me over the last few days. At the start,it was very clear that he wasn't keen on me-He wasn't keen on having me around.

But thing's changed!!

Jeremy Austin had realised that he liked me and he could no longer deny that there was something between us-And the feeling was mutual. My Arranged Husband,the man that I've hated for months is now the man that I like more than I would like to admit. A lot more!!

A JEALOUS HUSBAND.

Alex and I were lingerie shopping and spending some quality time together. Look at me,shopping for cute lingerie to impress the man I married. Crazy how things change.

Alex wasn't happy about it!

That's more like it,that's the Alex that I wanted in my time of need. I haven't done much of choosing lingerie before and I wanted his opinion.

I was sat in a fancy restaurant,across the table from my Uncle Nate who was too polite to show how impatient he was growing that Jeremy wasn't here yet. Jeremy picked this restaurant,but he's already twenty minutes late and making a bad impression.

I glanced down at my watch, and released a sigh."I'm sorry, Uncle Nate. I'm sure he won't be much longer. He probably just got held up in the office."

"Don't worry about it."He smiled."Let's give him 10,if he's not here by then we can order without him."

"I'll just give him a call."I stood from our table with my phone in hand and walked out of the restaurant. It was raining out now,so I stood by the door of the restaurant and dialled his number.

The ringing stopped and Jeremy picked up the phone."Vanessa.."

Thank god for that."Jeremy,Where are you?"Please tell me he's on his way and I don't have to go back in there and tell my Uncle that he's decided not to show up.

"I'm right in front of you."He replied, causing me to look ahead.He removed his phone from his ear and placed it in his pocket."You're standing in the rain just to call me?"

"Well-Yes."I folded my arms over my chest."You were late and I was starting to get worried. Did you get held up at the office?"

"No,I was with Antonio. He was telling me how he saw my Wife shopping for lingerie today with a Man. He went into a little more detail than that but I'd rather not discuss it."His face turned into a scowl,obviously he's pissed about what he's being told about me when we're not together.
