Chapter 156: Chapter 156 : Homosexual Pervert

Alex stretched his arms, cracked his neck, and then casually turned back to the trio of flushed and horrified girls still standing frozen in place.

"Girls, you should probably walk away from here," he said with a devilish smirk. "Things are about to get steamy... or would you prefer to enjoy the show?"

SMACK!

SMACK!

Charlotte and Seraphina’s hands collided with the back of his head simultaneously.

"Ow!" Alex laughed, rubbing his head. "I guess that’s a no."

Charlotte rolled her eyes. "You guess right, you perv."

Seraphina crossed her arms, face still red. "Absolute deviant."

They both turned toward Ava, who was standing stiffly beside them, her cheeks bright red.

"Ava," Charlotte said flatly, "let’s go check on the citizens. I think the cool hero who saved you just turned into a homosexual pervert."

Alex’s jaw dropped. "EXCUSE ME?! Who are you calling a homosexual pervert?! I’m just delivering justice in the most appropriate way!"

None of them looked back.

They walked off together, completely ignoring him.

Ava mumbled softly, "I... I didn’t hear anything... I heard nothing..."

Alex turned toward Alden and Draven, who were trying to sneak away in the opposite direction.

"And where the hell do you two think you’re going?"

Alden immediately stiffened. "W-We were just—uh—gonna help the girls! For safety!"

Draven nodded rapidly. "Y-Yeah! Safety! Very important!"

Alex reached out and grabbed both of them by the collars, dragging them back like misbehaving dogs.

"You’re staying. Front-row seats, boys."

Carter, seeing Alex’s glare, didn’t even try to move. He stood still, nodding rapidly.

Then Alex turned back toward Daniel and James, who were still kneeling in place—pale, sweaty, and traumatized.

He casually flicked his finger, and the ground beside them trembled. A stone structure erupted from the forest floor—walls forming, a roof sealing in, and inside—a room.

A bed.

A table.

Pillows.

It looked like something out of a fantasy honeymoon suite.

Alden blinked. "Oh no..."

Draven whispered, "Since when the hell can he use earth affinity?"

Alex turned back with a mock-pleasant tone toward James and Daniel.

"Now, boys. I hope you’re ready. No lube, no protection, I’m afraid. You’ll just have to give each other your first time raw."

Daniel and James trembled violently.

Then, in unison, they collapsed at Alex’s feet, bowing and begging.

"Please—please! Anything but that!" Daniel cried.

"We’ll do anything else! Anything!! Just not that—!!" James sobbed.

Alex sighed, then raised a finger and flicked again.

The soul-crushing pain returned.

Their eyes bulged.

Their bodies spasmed.

They screamed.

Clawed their own faces.

Until they passed out screaming—and were snapped back awake by pain.

When it stopped, they were broken.

Alex smiled.

"Move."

Without another word, they stood up, trembling violently.

And then, slowly, like prisoners on death row... they stripped.

Alden immediately turned away, choking on his own laughter.

Draven also tried to hold back his laughter.

Carter tried not to laugh but was failing miserably, muttering, "Oh gods... this is so messed up..."

James and Daniel walked into the room. The door sealed behind them.

Moments later—

Noises.

Not pain.

Not screams.

No.

The other kind of noises.

Ahhh!

Ahhh!

"..."

Alden stared into the void.

Draven looked like his soul was leaving his body.

Carter murmured, "I’m going to have nightmares for the rest of my life."

Alex grinned and turned toward Carter.

"You, Mr. Famous Hunter. Come here."

Carter gulped. "Y-Yes, sir?"

"Go check on them. Make sure they’re following orders."

Carter blinked. "M-Me?"

Alex nodded. "Yes, you."

"B-But why me?!"

Carter looked at Alden and Draven for help—only to find them both whistling, refusing to make eye contact.

Alex smirked. "Because I just saved your life. You owe me."

’He looks like an angel,’ Carter thought grimly. ’But he’s worse than the devil.’

Grumbling, Carter obeyed.

He walked into the room...

And less than a minute later—

Back in the clearing, Alex’s expression shifted.

He felt it.

A shift in the atmosphere.

He turned his gaze, eyes narrowing.

Veyron and Veyra were approaching.

The Wraith Twins.

And they were serious.

Alex immediately turned toward Alden, Draven, and Carter.

His voice was calm—but cold.

"Go."

They all froze.

"Go and stay with the girls. Protect them. They are your top priority now—not the citizens."

Then he turned to Carter specifically.

"You. Pick up Ethan’s body. Keep him safe. Make sure no one touches him."

Carter didn’t hesitate this time.

"Yes, sir!"

He ran toward Ethan, gently lifting the unconscious hero onto his back.

Alden and Draven bolted toward the direction of Charlotte, Ava, and Seraphina—faces pale but focused.

As they disappeared into the trees, Alex exhaled slowly.

Then turned back.

Eyes locked onto the Wraith Twins.

Smile gone.

Face unreadable.

Power rising.

’Time for the real monsters to show up.’
