Halsey quickly pulled out her phone. 

“I’m calling Shaun!” 

However, Gilbert immediately slapped the phone out of her hand, sending it hitting the ground with a loud crack. 

“My phone!” 

Halsey tried to pick it up, but Chelsea’s stiletto heel came down hard, grinding the phone into the floor. 

“Give it up, Halsey!” Chelsea said with a cold smile. “You’re not getting away tonight.” 

Halsey narrowed her eyes. “What the hell do you two want from me?” 

Gilbert turned toward the door. “Guys!” 

A group of bodyguards in black rushed in. “Yes, Mr. Greenwood?” 

Gilbert faced Halsey again. “Shaun’s gone, and my men have already surrounded the villa. So tonight, you’d better behave. Don’t make things harder than they need to be.” 

Halsey glared at him. “What are you trying to do?” 

Gilbert took out two plane tickets and held them up. “Come with me. Let’s leave this place. We can start over somewhere new.” 

“Start over?” Halsey gave a bitter laugh. “What do you mean, start over? We never even started in the first place!” 

“You little…” 

“Don’t forget! Our families might have arranged our marriage back then, but you cheated on me with Sienna. I shouldn’t even have to remind you. I’m with Shaun now. I love him, and I’m carrying his child. So stop dreaming!” 

Gilbert’s gaze dropped to her stomach. “It doesn’t matter if you’re pregnant. Just get rid of it! Once the baby’s gone, we can pretend none of this ever happened and live a happy life abroad.” 

“Wow, you really are twisted. I wonder if Warren knows what kind of person you really are,” Halsey sneered. 

Chelsea smirked. “He’ll never know. To him, I’ll always be a good friend. You’re the one he can’t stand.” 

Furious, Halsey turned to Gilbert. “Chelsea’s just using you, too!” 

Gilbert glared at her. 

“This is your last chance. Are you coming with me or not?” His tone turned colder. “I mean it! My patience has limits. If you refuse, I’ll make sure you disappear.” 

Halsey held her ground. “Then I’ll say it again-give it up! I love Shaun. I’ll never be with you. Not in this life!” 

Chelsea laughed. 

“You heard her! She’s just plain stubborn. She doesn’t appreciate the second chance you’re giving her.”
