"Yes I will. And you should do the same." I said, satisfied that my voice came out strong. "So now if you would please excuse me and let go of my arm please."

This only caused him to tighten his grip on my arm. "The kiss we shared didn't mean anything to you?" He asked gritting his teeth.

"Ouch you're hurting me." I was on the verge of tears by now. His grip still didn't loosen so I yanked my arm away from him and stared him dead in the eye.

"Fine you want the truth? First of all it was never a kiss that we shared, since you were the one who initiated it and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall responding at all. So I'll just pretend that it never happened and that I still haven't lost my first kiss."

He frowned his eyebrows in confusion. "What the fuck! That was your first kiss?" He yelled and started rubbing his face with his hands.

"But you're like what 4? How the hell was that your first kiss?" At least he looks guilty now.

"Just how have you never been kissed before? I mean you're beautiful."

Did I hear him accurately?

Did he just call me beautiful?

Me and beautiful?

Sure.

Motherfucker.

I'm sure my face was beet red now. Not cause I was mad at him for using the word kiss thrice in a row, but for calling me beautiful. I felt like a teenager whose boyfriend just called her beautiful. Damn it. He kissed me and now he called me beautiful.

What if he likes me?

Yeah no. Don't get ahead of yourself Emily.

I erased the possibility of him liking me as soon as it entered my mind.

"Why did you do that Adrian?" I whispered. My cheeks still burning from his compliment. I didn't want to run away this time. I wanted to know why he did what he did.

He raised his eyebrow expectedly, definitely pretending that he has no clue what I'm talking about.

"The kiss. Why did you kiss me?"

He seemed taken back by my question and coughed in response. For a while we just stared at each other and their was complete silence. I was lost in his eyes and he in mine. Or so I think. All of a sudden I wanted him to kiss me again. Shit.

"I don't know." He said while refusing to meet my eyes, as if he was guilty to confess the real reason.

"I just did." He seemed to have an internal battle with himself.

"Fuck." He swore under his breath, looking really angry all of a sudden. Causing my eyes to widen in fear. His expressions darkened and it seemed as if he's about to commit a grave crime.

Then he finally sighed and mumbled the words which broke my heart even though I expected something of this sort.

Goddamit did it have to be her first kiss. And why does having her first kiss make me feel so honored?

She was glaring at me furiously. Heck her face was even red from the anger.

Why Adrian? Why? Is it cause you like her? The desire to kiss someone you like is totally natural.

Ofcourse I don't like her.

Then why did you randomly kiss her?

Cause you're a whore.

Shut up inner thoughts!

I faked a cough before responding. "I don't know." I said, my eyes focused on the floor. "I just did."

Adrian just admit it. You like her.

More like her face and body.

My epic response only caused her to raise her eyebrow as if demanding the true answer. Since when does she get to act like your boss.
