Lucas just snickered while Adrian gave me an amused smile. "Just by the way, your sister's totally hot." Lucas said in a high pitched voice, if he was imitating me, then he certainly failed.
"I need answers! This is not cool okay? Imagine a random person just entering your house while you're gone and then pretending as if the house belongs to them. How did you guys even know where I live?" I said while eyeing the popcorn that was now in Adrian's lap, while both the men raised their hands in mock surrender.
"And are you guys watching The Vow?" I asked in disbelief as I looked at the TV screen for the first time after entering my house.
"Ha-ha. That movie was on...I didn't even know. Silly me." Came Adrian's response as he switched off the TV. And yes, he stuttered! What's wrong with watching The Vow anyways. It's an amazing movie. Not restricted to any gender. Men have issues.
"But Adrian you ordered me to switch on HBO at 3 pm sharp because you wanted to watch that movie and you even said that you 'wouldn't miss it for the wo-" Lucas stated doing that inverted comma, bunny ears thing with his fingers but couldn't finish his sentence since Adrian elbowed him in his ribs. "Ouch." Lucas muttered, rubbing his side that got elbowed.
Adrian's face was literally beet red, and I might have found it cute if it weren't for the sick joke these two pulled! Emphasis on the word 'might.' They still owned me an explanation so I just raised my eyebrow instead of laughing.
"Rachel McAdams is hot alright." He said in his defence.
"Whatever you say, you still haven't answered my question yet."
"What does it matter, I'm here now and that's all you need to know." Adrian said while winking, and flashing me his million dollar smile. Gosh, he's even hotter than Channing Tatum will ever be. What the hell Emily?
"If only you were Channing Tatum. Which you aren't, so get the fuck out of my house."
My heart was beating like a maniac, but I still managed to plaster a stern look on my face as I stared at him causing him to sigh and rub his hands through his hair in frustration. Why was he even frustrated, I should be frustrated! He pulled the stunt, not me! Infact entering someone's house without permission is not a simple stunt. He should get sued. Double sued!
And why was Lucas grinning? He literally looked like the Cheshire cat. Ditto copy.
"You guys what!" I yelled.
"Calm down Emily." Adrian sighed. "How the fuck do you expect me to calm down when you guys broke into my h-"
"Lucas lied." Adrian said softly before I could even finish my sentence. "He lied. A to Z. Each and every word he uttered was a lie. Why do you do that Lucas. Are you a kid you fucking moron." He said, looking at Lucas.
Lucas just raised his hands and smirked. "It was fun looking at her reaction. Emily you're still standing. Why don't you sit down here-" he stood up from the sofa where he was sitting next to Adrian and took a few giant steps towards me until he was right behind me. He pushed me towards the sofa by my shoulders and made me sit on the sofa. Right next to Adrian, who seemed stiff all of a sudden. This can't be happening! "And Adrian will answer all the questions. I'm off to my home. I enjoyed my time here. Cheese popcorn is the best." He added with a thumbs up.
"You can't leave me here, alone with him!" I said pointing towards Adrian, while I shifted towards the edge of the sofa.
