"Listen Mister, you are probably one of those arrogant, self-centered, egoistic jerks who think that the whole world revolves around them, but reality check, it doesn't. And I don't give a shit whether you work here or not, I needed to speak to someone and wanted to know if you knew him. So basically my presence here doesn't have anything to do with you at all. Fuck you, and your ego dickhead." And with that she sped down the hallway, not even glancing back at me, while I just stood there staring at her retreating figure, my mouth agape.

That was a new one for me. She actually didn't know me? Such a girl even existed. I felt guilty for thinking that she was here for the same reason as every other girl. I guess she was right about me being an egoistic jerk.

I kept looking in her direction till she disappeared. She made quite an impression and I found her giving me a 'reality check' sexy as fuck to be very honest.

Emily's POV.

The next morning I woke up, dressed up in my skinny jeans and wore a simple dark blue and white sweater on top. I was definitely visiting the Henderson Corporation today. Lilly was still not back from her study session yet. Figures.

I hurriedly ate my breakfast and got ready to depart.

I got into my small black car and took off. I knew the direction very well, since I came to pick father several times.

The drive took a good 20 minutes. I parked my car and walked towards the building. I gaped at the huge building infront of me despite seeing it several times. It was the first time that I would enter the building.

I took a deep breath and opened the glass doors. I received many curious looks as I walked to the reception.

"Ex-ccuse me? I need to speak to Mr Henderson." My voice came out worse than I expected. The lady at the counter who was filing her nails, glanced up at me, and raised one of her eyebrows. She looked like a model.

"And who might you be?" She asked, folding her arms, her eyes trailing me up and down.

Quit acting like a scaredy cat! She's not going to eat you!

"Emily Boston." Her eyes went wide as she heard my name.

"Emily Boston? As in the daughter of Mr Boston, the personal Secretary of Mr Henderson, the one who is rumored to take a leave due to a-" she seemed to contemplate for a second about what to say next but ended looking at me with her mouth open. I resisted my urge to laugh.

"Yes, that Emily."

"Oh my gosh, we were just wondering why Boston didn't inform us about the uh- you know what I'm referring to, and then you come into the picture, is this some sort of destiny? You know, you don't look alot like him but still there's this resemblance-" How did this topic even start. Destiny? Seriously? She was going on about my looks, she seemed to be a typical gossip girl to me.

Damn, I had no option but to ask for his help. I sighed and looked at the man infront of me. My heart literally stopped beating for a moment.

He was wearing a black suit with a white button up shirt and a striped tie. He seemed somewhat 25 years old and saying that he was attractive is an understatement.

This man was the epitome of hot.

He was perfect. He had green eyes and dirt blonde hair that made me want to pass my fingers through them. He was tall. Like really tall, probably 6-7 inches taller than my 5'6 frame. And his features, I can't even describe. Let's just say that he was perfect. He looked like he was a model. Did this place hire models only?

This much perfection is a sin.

I realised that he was looking at me intently. I was still in a trance. A second later, he cleared his throat and looked away. Crap, he caught me checking him out. Well that sure put me in an awkward situation. He was about to enter the elevator when I realized that I had to ask for directions.

"Umm, excuse me, do you work here?" Shit, even the question came out wrong. He turned around and looked at me with a shocked expression. He quickly composed himself and looked at me with a bored expression and folded his arms.

"Yes, I work here, but you already knew that very well." I gave him a confused look. What the hell? Why would I ask if I already knew? I was about to say something when he stopped me and continued, "Get to the main point. Is it money or sëx that you want? And just to let you know, I don't owe anything to anyone." I flinched at his tone, clearly not expecting that.
