Running in human form is a great way for me to release tension and stress. Mattie came with me mostly because I think he's a morning dog. He always wakes up me and LB with a kiss to get our asses up.

I was just ducking under a low hanging branch when someone mind linked me.

Kaily! Come to the Pack house ASAP. Pack meeting Banes voice penetrated my head. He was sing his alpha voice so I knew it was important.

Okay Alpha I replied Do I bring Leo with me? I ask him.

No, this conversation isn't for children he answers

Okay Alpha

I wonder what the meeting about, we hardly get pack meeting unless there's an emergency. I stopped running and looked at Mattie. "Go home boy. Home" I tell him pointing in the direction we came from. He barked unhappily but still followed my order.

I quickly undressed folding my clothes neatly before I shifted into my golden brown wolf form, I picked up my clothes with my teeth and ran in the direction of the pack house.

Walking into the pack house the tension in the room could be cut with a knife. Bane, Ryder, Ryan and a few other pack members were in the meeting room. Bryan was pacing a frown marring his face.

"Hey, guys" I say, the guys faces snapped towards me. Banes looking guilty, while Ryder and Ryan's looked stricken. "What's the pack meeting for?" I ask slowly, the situation really creeping me out.

"Um... Kaily, why don't you sit down?" Bane cautiously says pointing to a chair. I nod my head worried this was the second time he called me by my name, they only call me by my name when something's wrong or they always call me by my middle name, Rose or Rosy.

"Sure" I say and do as he says.

Rubbing his hands together Bane stood in front of us "As you all know, there have been a lot of werewolf killings these four years. As the months goes by these killers have been traveling through packs and killing upstanding pack members," he starts pausing "The trackers have found out that they are heading south, they started in Canada taking down two packs and leaving the other two remaining packs in chaos. The elders of the packs in the US have decided to pair up packs, to make us stronger, and give us a larger chance of stopping the Blood Thirst brothers"

"Yeah why aren't you freaking out?" Bryan asks.

"Because I know this move is the best thing for the pack, and that I want Leo to meet his dad" I whisper to them.

"Why the hell do you want LB to know that asshat?" Bane snarls confused and angry.

I sighed and twiddled my thumbs together and bit my lip "It's because Leo asked me about his dad, last night and I had no idea what to say to him. I think it's time for him to know his father guys" I tell them honestly 'I don't like the idea of that either, but it will happen eventually, you know that. If I don't tell Leo about him before LB's 16th birthday he'll find out on his own. His wolf will trace his pups scent to us, and I rather him find out about LB on my terms".

They still looked troubled but nodded their heads anyway. They know I'm right. "Anyways, I can open a new restaurant in Moon Leaf Pack, do my shoots for Victoria secret there too" I reason with them "you guys will be there to protect me too".

Bane sighed "I should have known that you would be logical and smart about this". I stuck my tongue out.

"I have to pick up Leo and tell him the news I guess" I sigh this time "And I have to tell Rachel, she'll be happy with me" I say grimacing. They laughed at me then even though it was forced. "Don't worry guys I'll be fine, and if something's wrong I'll tell you" I reassure them.
