I woke up as early as I could so I could take my time while preparing for work; that was the biggest lie

I told myself. I didn't wake up for that, I woke up early to see and know if Antonio came home last night or not. I just wanted to know if he was sleeping or something so I tiptoed to his room, it was empty.

Antonio really has a bad character of behaving wildly when things don't go according to his plans, it was tiring; and as much as I liked him, it was a huge turn off for me. I let out a sigh and found my way back to my room to get ready for work.

While dressing up, I heard a loud bang, it sounded like it came from the main door. I already had my trousers on so I grabbed a random shirt and ran out of my room to check on what was happening.

Turned out it was Mr. Antonio Rivera, strolling into the house without care for anything or anyone. He looked mighty rough and had blood streaks on almost every part of his body. I rushed to him and put him on a couch in the living room, then I ran to get water.

"What the fuck is this? Why do you have blood everywhere?" I asked him, he reeked of stale alcohol and fresh alcohol; that could only mean that he drank again before coming back home. He had his hair plastered everywhere on his face, it was sticky and smelled like alcohol. Antonio looked like a lost dog.

"I don't know, don't ask me," came his reply. I rolled my eyes and let out a sigh. Even as he was drunk, he still knew how to talk crap. I felt like slapping sense into him like how my mother would when I was being a spoiled brat, but I restrained myself because Antonio may be big and strong, but he sure wouldn't be able to take a sound, deafening slap, especially from an African; it was like there was something in our hands that just made slaps deadly.

I hurried to the restroom to get the first aid box to tend to the little cuts he had here and there on his body.

"Sewa..." Antonio dragged. I looked up at him but hues eyes were closed.

"Cara..." he called again. I didn't bother looking at him.

The decision that I took yesterday about ending the contract was all his fault. He just had a way of making me feel helpless anytime we argued, and I didn't want that, the arguments were far too much to handle; so much that what we had was on its way to being a toxic relationship.

"I swear, I didn't fuck her" she said out of the blue. Making me remember the ugly smug look Joline had in her face.

"I couldn't..." he said.

"You're a grown man, learn to drink fucking responsibly" I scolded him. I didn't want him to keep talking about what happened yesterday, because I didn't want to have to change my mind about the contract thing. I had made up my mind and I was going to go through with it.

I needed something, something way more than just sex, I needed to be able to let my feelings out without fear of rejection, and Antonio was not that person for me. He wanted to fuck all the women in the world, which is honestly not my problem anymore. He always thought with his dick and not with his head. I still think the reason he had me move into his house was for easy pussy, it was something I know Antonio was capable of.

It really hurt me to think that the man would do anything just to get a place to shove his dick; while making it look like he was helping. Which was why as I was ready to leave for work, I held my phone in my hand, contemplating if I should make the call or not. I got into the car Antonio gave me, looking at my phone and the number I was about to call.

I know I still had feelings for Antonio, but I wanted something I knew Antonio couldn't give me, I wanted a relationship, I wanted to give love and be able to receive love back, to feel it and know that I was loved.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and dialed the number, Noah's number. He picked after the first ring. The way he sounded told me he was happy I called.

"You want to go out on a date with me?" I asked him, biting my fingers.

"I thought you'd never ask, I'll send you the location" Noah's reply came and I smiled.

Finally time for a normal relationship, with a normal guy.
