After the stressful day at work, I came back home to find a strange car parked in the mansion. It wasn't any of Antonio's cars for sure and it looked too shabby to be newly bought, so someone was clearly in the house.
I didn't think much to it because Antonio always had his hoard of friends in the house from time to time. On getting into the house, I didn't hear the sound of people talking, and Antonio's friends were usually loud as fuck, so it was a little weird to me. I shook the thought of Antonio having a girl over from my head and walked to the kitchen to get water; I was parched.
I met a strange body, a strange female body; she had her back to me. She did have a very nice body, and a bright orange colored hair that flowed at her back freely. On cue, the lady turned to me, giving me a sassy smile that said "I own everything" I gave her a confused look. She was pretty but who the fuck was she? And what was she doing in the house? And where in God's name was Antonio?
"Hi" she screeched. I gave her a small smile and got the water I wanted to drink.
"Who are you?" She asked me. I turned to her but I couldn't say a word because I was drinking my water. You know what they say, drink water and mind your damn business.
I shook my head and took the bottle of water, and I the glass in my mouth, walking to the direction of the living room.
Having whosever that lady was, was not my issue, my issue with her was, why the fuck was she almost naked? And I could swear that I knew she didn't dress like that to the house. She had a thong and a see-through bra top, like I could SEE everything! And she had the nerve to ask me who I was? Crazy.
Something in me knew that Antonio was around the house somewhere; and he was busy with our guest; and I knew going into my room meant that, I wouldn't know what was happening in the house. So I kept my bag and coat on the couch, took off my shoes and poured myself a glass of water; I was drinking water and minding my business.
On cue, a shirtless Antonio appeared on the stairs.
"Joline, what the hell is-" he started, but paused when he saw me drinking water and minding my business.
Joline? I swear I had heard that name somewhere. Then it clicked. She was the one that sent Antonio a message when we were together, it caused and argument between us. So she was Joline. I smiled against the glass, watching him. Antonio kept his eyes on me, he had this look on his face, one that looks like regret. So he did have sex with Joline and he was giving me shit for talking to Noah. What a fucking hypocrite.
"Toni?" Joline called, running and bouncing her breasts as she did. She stood at the foot of the stairs, looking at Antonio, while Antonio kept his eyes on me, and me? I kept my eyes on my water, you know, I was minding my business.
"Sewa, you're back" Antonio said awkwardly, making Joline turn to me, she had a nasty look on her face.
"This Sewa girl that is supposedly better that everyone?" She spat, giving a pained laugh.
"I'm disappointed," she added. My smile again at the glass became wider.
Was she trying to pick a fight with me? This bitch was not better than Anabeth, and if I could make Anabeth eat shit, I could make baby Joline eat shit.
When I got to Antonio, he grabbed my hand, stopping me from walking past him. I gave him a questioning glare, he was trying to beg me with his eyes. I smiled at him and leaned in.
"Did you fuck her with ice too?" I asked, smiling against his ear.
"You know, maybe this is the best time to put a hold to the contract" I whispered in his ear and I swear the man froze.
He looked at me like I told him I killed his parents or something.
"You're joking, right?" He asked but I smiled in response. I released my hand from his grip and walked into my room to gather my thoughts and feelings that were all over the place.
I knew he wasn't lying about the photo shoot, but I just felt they did more than the photo shoot, especially because that Joline looked like a snake, she could make him do something, even though he didn't want to do it. I sat on my bed, thinking if halting the contract was the right thing. Or maybe I could have sex outside the contract, you know? Like with other people.
That evening, Antonio left the house and didn't return. His anger was misplaced, because if anything, I should be the one getting angry and leaving the house and shit.
