We ended at a fine restaurant in Ortigas. The ambiance was cozy at homey so it made me feel a little better. Kraius wasn't joking when he said he will close a resto for me. I chuckled when I saw that there's no one inside except us and the staff of the restaurant. I scolded him because of that but he just laughed at me.
"See? You're smiling! I'm so handsome!" he exaggerated.
We were both sitting as we ate our food. He ordered a heavy meal for him while I ordered sweet and spicy chicken and yang chow fried rice. I had orange juice while he had champagne.
The little angel inside me was starving me, so I gained weight, contrary to what I was a week ago. I don't often vomit, too.
Everything is changing and I am coping. My life will not stop because of the bad things that happened. Though, it is hard for me now but I know someday I can finally accept it. Finally be healed and finally be able to smile again. Genuine and pure. Someday...
But there's just things that I had to go through before I could stand up from the pain. Before I can heal my wounded heart. Things that will create new memories. A new chapter and a new start. Either good or bad.
Tomorrow came, and I started to work again. Like usual, the clinic was still pleasing to the eyes. I felt the freedom I've been deprived of having for so long.
It was a fine day for me. I've been scanning and reading files for my patients the whole day. My nape was hurting but I can manage. I also accepted patients and made schedules for them. The last one was a walk-in patient that seemed problematic. Her name was Leighton and I can feel her agony and pain by her words as she told me her story. I couldn't help but to shed tears, maybe because of pregnancy hormones.
I sighed and stopped what I'm doing. I removed my glasses and stretched my body. I massaged my temple and looked up at the ceiling. I felt tired from working the whole afternoon, but I feel happy.
I smiled when my phone rang. I quickly fixed myself and picked up the phone from my table. My smile widened when I read my Dad's name on the screen. I immediately answered it.
"Hi, Dad!" I greeted him.
"Princess, are you okay?" he asked.
My forehead creased at his question. "Yes! Why? Is there a problem?"
"No. I mean, stay where you are. I'll let the bodyguards pick you up."
May Dad sounded worried that my forehead creased. Regardless of that, I still conformed to him. I glanced at the digital clock on my table and saw that it was already five o'clock in the afternoon. I didn't notice the time because I was too busy working.
"There's no need, Dad. I'll go home now." I stood up and picked up my things. I smiled when I felt the weight of my stomach although it's not that big yet. I could feel the life inside of me.
"Bye! Miss you," I bid my goodbye.
I wished I just disappeared.
I wished I also vanished.

I am losing my will. The unbearable pain is killing my being. The sound of my cries and pleading is nothing compared to the silent scar within me.
Deep and lasting scar that will always be with me.
My heart is hurting. My body is hurting.
But, I want my baby to be fine. I want my child to be saved. Just my child, I don't care about me.
I was losing consciousness because of what Trina was doing. But, the eagerness to save my child stood out more. I prayed and hoped that someone would find and help me. Even just now.
