"A boy version of you. What do you want?" he asked me back.

I shook my head because I didn't know what to name our child. I haven't thought about it yet. "I don't know. Maybe, Dad wants to suggest it to my grandmother. Oliver's fine, too." I looked away.

"Yeah, right."

I heard his sigh. Minutes passed and silence enveloped us once again. I let the silence take over the space.

When the car turned to another way, my forehead creased. I immediately faced him. He was still serious as he drove the car, not even talking. I don't know what he's planning to do. We're taking a different road and it's far from Quezon City.

"Where are we going?" I couldn't help but to ask. "Atlas!" My voice raised when he didn't answer.

Atlas stopped the car. I was ready to breathe fire into his face when I saw his eyes. His eyes were pleading. Everything I wanted to say to him suddenly vanished.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to bring you to a restaurant. I know, you're starving. Our baby's hungry too," he said.

I looked away. I suddenly felt shameful. My back straightened as I glanced at my wristwatch. It's already one in the afternoon. I'm hungry.

"Okay. Whatever you want," I muttered.

After a moment, we drove under the heat of the sun once more. I didn't complain anymore. I don't have the strength to. I just wanted a peace of mind and I could achieve it if I just avoided starting a fight with him.

"We're here," he said after parking the car.

I nodded in reply and glanced outside the window. What greeted me was a wide space from a private restaurant. It was a single type with only a wooden exterior. It was filled with hanging plants.

"Let's go," Atlas invited after he opened my door. I smiled at him and nodded. He guided me out of the car.

I was frozen at what I heard. Atlas was right. It was our first time going to a restaurant together. If we think about how he acted earlier, we looked like teenagers who are in the courting stage. I blushed at the realization. My mind was so full that I forgot everything which was actually good. I wasn't uncomfortable with him earlier. Instead, I showed an attitude that I've never done before.

Before, I can easily be hurt and surrender when it comes to Atlas. I can easily accept defeat when I found out that he had a mistress. I accepted everything just like that. I didn't get angry nor did I say anything. I cried and mourned in silence when I realized it wasn't good. I should fight and stop him. Or worse, threaten his woman. Because it was my right as his wife. I should've fought for Atlas before. But even if I think about it, everything happens for a reason. We ended this fate. This is what's supposed to happen.

"I want you to love me, not because I am the scholar boy from ten years ago, Olive," he said in a serious manner.

I don't know what I should say. I am still healing and Atlas' face while looking at me was pleading. His eyes were on me that made me dumbfounded and confused at the same time. In the end, I uttered the word that I am not sure of but determined.

"How?" I whispered. I placed my hands on the table. Atlas did the same. He took a small black box inside his pocket and showed it to me. When he opened it, I was stunned. My heart contracted as I felt different emotions only he can cause.

"Let's start from where it all started, Olive. Wear this ring and come with me."

I didn't reply. I didn't know what to say. The only thing I knew was . . . I lent my hand at Atlas to accept his offer.
