Isabella's POV

"Okay,Megs. Lets split up." I said while ripping the list in half while Megan nodded at the idea.

"You get the things on this list." I said handing her half the list."and I'll get the ones on this list. When you're done you call me on my cell and we'll meet up at the pay tills. If I finish before you then you'll get the call from me."

"Got it,see ya later Lil' sis." Said Megan already walking away to fetch the things on her list.

"Where to go first?" I quietly asked myself looking at the items on the list. "Detergents here I come." I mumbled to myself walking towards the direction of the detergents isle.

Devon's POV

When Sophie and I arrived at the grocery store,we bought all that we needed before going to Sophie's favourite isle. By that time, Sophie was starting to get restless,wanting to be picked up at one minute then being sat down the next.

She was yawning quite constantly indicating that it was actually time for her nap.

"Sophie as promised,you can choose one packet of sweets but since you were a good girl you can choose two." I said while looking at my once again yawning daughter.

"Daddy, I want to go home."she said while yawning and rubbing her eyes.

"Okay, let's go pay first,then we'll go home." I softly told her.

"Daddy! I want to go,Now!" She yelled frustrated while furiously rubbing her eyes.

At that moment I heard footsteps coming towards our direction.

Isabella's POV

As I approached the detergents isle,I was met with the sight of a man and a little girl who I assume was the man's daughter. For some odd reason I felt a strange pull towards the man and little girl.

"Daddy! I want to go,Now!" I heard the little girl yell frustrated while viciously rubbing her eyes.

I felt my heart strings pull when I saw tears running form her cheeks. I could see that these were tears of frustration and exhaustion.

At that moment I felt my feet moving towards the man and little girl as if an invisible magnet was pulling me towards them.

Devon's POV

Sophie was in full blown crying mode by now and she wouldn't calm down at all even as I picked her up and rocked her in my arms.

"Come on Soph,please calm down Baby." I cooed.

Then and there I suddenly smelt a very heavenly,sweet smell.

~I can't believe this~ I heard my wolf,Jace say in a shocked voice. 'Don't tell me that...' I asked him full of disbelief.

~That's our mate~ he answered,his voice still full of utter shock aswell as disbelief and pure happiness.

I have never thought that I would ever in my life get a second mate. I am filled with many emotions with the most prominent being adoration,happiness and gratitude.

"And I'm Devon and Soph is my daughter,I assume you've already guessed." He said lightly chuckling.

"It's nice to meet you both...well I better get back to my shopping before my sister calls me,Bye." I said with a smile already starting to walk away.

"Wait! Could I ask you a very crazy question,but you could always decline. I'm in dire need of someone who could watch over Sophie during the day for the week or atleast until I can find her a new nanny. Sophie is a very shy person,but she seems to have taken a liking to you,which rarely happens." He said while looking at Sophie with a loving gaze.

"I want her to be with someone she can be comfortable with,so would you be able to look after her if possible...well temporarily." He asked with hopeful eyes.

"Well if you would be willing to do so." He nervously said with a nervous chuckle.

"Yeah,that could be arranged." I said as I lightly giggled at his nervousness. It's quite cute.

Devon's POV

My mate's giggle was one of the most adorable sounds I have ever heard. I could hear Jace let out a light chuckle at his mate's giggle obviously liking it as much as I was.

"Great,thank you. How about we swap numbers so I can send you the address to my house then we can meet up tomorrow to discuss this more,I don't want to waste any more of your shopping time." I said to my mate while fixing Soph in my arms.

"Sure,see you tomorrow then."she said with a smile,giving me her numbers before walking away.

~Our mate is so beautiful and her voice is like a melody that I can't get enough of~ said Jace and he sounded like a love sick puppy.

Anyone who could hear Jace right now would clearly hear that he was already falling for her.
