Her eyes widened and tears started falling down her face.

"Susan I didn't mean to shout okay babe I just"

"No I get it, its getting clearer that you don't want to be in a relationship with me so I will let you be," she said

"no I didn't say that"

She raised both her hands in surrender and said "Goodbye Tristan Daniels," as she stormed out of my office

I sighed heavily as I was walking to room 203 to see Zoe that afternoon. I was anxious because I needed the doctor of the nurses to tell me that Zoe was going to be ok, that her condition was improving.

I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard a familiar sweet voice singing and the sound got clearer as I neared Zoe's room. It was the song called Blue by Beyonce, I remembered the voice so distinctly and when I opened the door there she was, the nurse I had seen earlier.

It was Megan, I pinched myself making sure I was not dreaming.

"Meghan" I said

"Meghan"

She turned around and looked at me , but she looked at me as if she was seeing someone she once knewbut has no idea who the person is. It was her Meghan. The moment was so surreal that it felt more like a dream but te cold draft that came in from the tiny window made me know it was actually happening.

Meghan was indeed standing in front of me, she was still alive. My heart was almost leaping out of my chest as I walked closer to her. I stretched my hand out as I wanted to touch her and make sure she was real and not my mind playing tricks on me like I thought it had done that morning.

She stepped aside avoiding my hand and then she looked at me intently then said "Oh I am so sorry sir I just wanted to sing to her, even though it is not my place"

Why was she calling me sir as if she did not know who I was.

I just stood there rooted in one spot staring at her and she back at me though she looked a bit uneasy.

"Sorry sir do you maybe know me from somewhere, cause you look like someone I know but I have no idea who you are to be honest" she said

"Meghan it is me Tristan',, I said grabbing her hand. She pulled her hand from mine then stepped back again. She looked at me surprised that I knew her name.

"Excuse me who are you, how do you know my name?" she said

"Meghan it is me Tristan your husband..." Before she could answer a doctor and nurse walked in. The Doctor stood by the door holding the handle and with a frown he said

"What the hell is happening here"
