"Knock knock"

"Come in" I heard him say"

I opened the door slowly and walked in. Dr Summer was sitting by his desk and going through some documents.

"Oh you are busy, I can come back when you are done with what you are doing" I said

"No no no...it is fine. Come in and have a seat, I can never be too tired for you,," he said with his masculine deep voice

I walked into the room and sat down "Are you about to finish. I am so so tired and would like to get hom and just pass out. I can get a cab if you are still busy" I said to him

"I will be done in 5 mins. I am also very tired, I need like a week just to become fully functional again" he said and we exchanged a smile

"You can go get changed then we can meet by the parking lot in 5 minutes max" he said

"Ok cool, see you now" I said as I walked out.

Before I left something told me to pass by and check on the little girl Zoe. I did not understand why I had this warm fuzzy feeling everytime I saw her, I felt like taking her and holding her in my arms, I felt like I needed to protect her and for some strange reason it broke my heart seeing her lying there with tubes coming in and out of her body. She looked so lifeless like she was going to die and I felt helpless. I felt like crying seeing her in that state.

I walked closer to her and held her small hand in my hand and kissed it. She had such beautiful light brown skin like mine.

"God protect you little one" I said as I gently stroked her hair. The other nurse had told me she was going to be fine though she was going to take time to recover.

I wondered who her mother was, she was very lucky to have a beautiful child like that. I wondered where her mother and father were. I didn't realize I was crying until I felt tears coming down my face, it really broke my heart seeing her like this, she looked so lifeless sleeping on the hospital bed with a trach tube attached to her.

"A Girl" Tristan and I said simultaneously, we all thought the baby was going to be a boy.

"I am so happy I broke the curse of only having boys' I said looking up to Tristan who was holding the delicatee pink bundle in pure awe.

"My very own little princess' he whispered"

"Thank you so much baby" he said and he kissed my lips, I could feel tears coming down my face "Oh Meghan Thank you so much." I heard Tristan say again above me.

Yes! Thank you, Lord God. Tears of intense happiness flowed at the side of my eyes. Our baby is here, she is finally here. I love her even more now that she is a girl...

Beep beep

I was woken up by my alarm ringing

"Uggh" I said I didn't want to wake up from that dream it felt so real, like it actually happened.

"Tristan" I said to myself. That name sounded so familiar, but for the life of me I could not remember his face though in my dream his face looked like a person I have known all my life.
