-My turn- Tala claimed as she completely took over.
I pounced at Jessica with my claws out but the only damage I made was a deep cut on the side of her face. Cooper had gotten up and caught me in mid-air and took me to the back corner of the classroom.
"Fucking Hell, Cooper! You ass! Let me go!" I growled at him, struggling in his hold, kicking him.
"No. Bring Briar back, Tala. I want my Briar." He grabbed my arms leaving me defenseless. I calmed down and Tala called me back. Sitting there heavily breathing, I mumbled. "What was that?" Cooper asked.
"I said, I'm sick and tired of all her shit! She deserved everything Tala was going to do!" I growled.
"I know. Flynn took care of it." Cooper informed me.
"Huh?" I asked, looking over his shoulder. Flynn was growling in his Alpha tone at Jessica and spitting some very colorful words at her, scaring her shitless. "Wow," I said. Cooper let me go and I stood up and walked back to my seat.
Jessica ran off to her seat and Flynn sat one row over in front of Cooper. "Thanks," I told him. He nodded at me.
Sitting down, our teacher walked in. Ignoring him, Flynn leaned over and asked me questions.
"So you're a Runt?"
"Yup."
"Found your mate yet? Well in wolf form of course."
"Seen him? No. Smell him? Yes." I answered starting my notes for the day.
"What does he smell like?"
"Chocolate, citrus and roses."
"Hm."
"What?"
"Nothing."
I looked at him with one eyebrow raised. "Why are you asking so many questions? I didn't know I consented to an interrogation." I smirked.
"What?" He shrugged, "I'm just a naturally curious individual. No harm intended." He flashed a giant grin. Rolling my eyes I continued to copy the powerpoint.

Two periods passed and then lunch came. Luckily, Chicken and Rice was not on the menu.
I got my lunch after Greeting Ms. Wolf and explaining how wonderful my morning was, note the sarcasm.
I bought a ham and cheese sandwich, that Jayden stole even though he has his own, leaving me with milk and french fries. Before I could protest, he bit into it. Groaning at him, I sat at our table. Out of nowhere, someone squatted behind me scaring the absolute shit out of me. Looking at the cause of my heart attack, I saw that it was Flynn. He motioned for a very confused Chase and Allison to go on as I caught my breath.
"Hey."
-Find Chase- Tala demanded.
-Give me a minute- I told her as I bent down to the bottom locker, turning to my combination.
"I grabbed Tony and followed it but we couldn't find it." The boy named Scott argued.
"It was probably your imagination messing with you," the tall muscular guy said.
"James, I swear I saw it. We're going out to look again tonight if you want to come." Scott informed him.
"Sure, I'll humor you." James agreed.
Getting more and more frightened, I grabbed my books I needed and closed my locker. Standing up I went in search for Chase.
I turned the third corner and found him.
"Hi-woah okay." I interrupted his greeting by grabbing his hand and pulling him behind me to the butterfly garden that was built a few years back that no one knows about. I used to go there all the time if I needed my space. If this wasn't a manner of life and death, I'd probably be blushing at the fact that I made the first move. The bell just rang but this is more important.
When we got there I sat on the bench next to Chase. before he could say anything I started, "The two guys that were in the woods last night are going back tonight with their friend." I explained quickly. "They're looking for me, Chase and I'm scared that they'll find my pack."
"I'll talk to your dad after school about teaming my guard up with his, just for extra protection." He offered holding my hands.
Nodding I jumped up and hugged him around his neck, nuzzling my face into his neck calming myself with his scent. He hugged me back instantly, wrapping his arms tightly around my torso. I pulled away, sitting down basically straddling him, just enough to peck his cheek. He looked at me shocked and cupped my cheek with one of his hands.
