"Watch your language young lady!" my mom demanded. I giggled a little while Chase followed Dr. Belle.
{Chase's POV}
I left my mate in the arms of another man. I wasn't too happy about it but he was right. She wouldn't heal unless the bullet was removed. He closed the door and I stood in front of her family. I bowed at them.
"I guess she believed you Chase." Luna said. I nodded. Her first daughter and Alpha looked at her.
"You knew?" Alpha asked his Luna. She nodded. "Why didn't you say anything?"
"He asked me not to and I respected that. Now calm down." She told Alpha as he softly glared at me.
Alpha walked at me and I stood there. "Now, I know you're my daughter's mate but you know all the shit she's given because A). she's a runt and B). she's Lupa Alba. You better take care of her or I will come and kill you myself. " His finger pointed at my face. Confidently nodding, I answered.
"Yes sir." He nodded and
"When do you plan to take her to your pack?" He asked me, snaking his arm around his wife's waist and pulling her close.
"Saturday afternoon. I want to give her a chance to say her goodbyes to all her friends. I will have my Alpha, Alpha Cullen, bring me a pair of clothes tomorrow and then I will pick up a pair tomorrow after school." I added. He nodded at me.
"Do I need to arrange a room for you to sleep in for a few days or will you and Briar be sleeping together?" I shrugged.
"I don't know. It's whatever she feels comfortable with. I don't want to push things." I nodded. They bowed their heads in respect. I heard the door open and Briar had a bandage wrapped around her calf. I smiled as she walked towards me.
{Briar's POV}
Removing the bullet was a bitch. Not only was it a bullet but it was silver. Because of my position as Lupa Alba, the silver didn't hurt me as bad as it would if I was a normal she-wolf. It took Dr. Belle three times to get the bullet out. I was this close to clawing it out it hurt so bad.
"Uh...about thirty minutes after you kissed me in the hall way..." I trailed blushing.
He grabbed the neck of his shirt and pulled it over his head. I blushed at his toned body, his v-line peeking out of his sweat pants as he completely pulled his shirt off. He caught me staring and smirked. I blushed and placed my shirt back in my drawer.
"See, I have the same one." I looked at his right shoulder and saw the exact same tattoo-like mark. I touched it with my hand and he shuddered under my touch. I smiled at the way I affect him.
"It must be our Mate marks that anyone can see; if its visible of course, saying that we're taken." I smiled at the thought of having a real mate.
"But you're still unmated. Unmated males don't give a shit that you're taken. Hell, you're not even marked. This means that Human guys won't give a crap about a damn tattoo." He exclaimed holding my waist, shuddering under his touch.
"I know but who would want me? You won't have to worry about unmated males. They don't want runts. Especially one who over rules every Alpha." I said.
He grabbed my chin and slowly raised it so I was looking at him. "I want you and I would've waited forever for you." He smiled at me. I nodded as he leaned in and quickly pecked my lips. "Go get a shower beautiful; we have a big day tomorrow. Remember: school and then our date?"
