All my friends gushed at me. While I sat there and smiling, mumbling. "what did you say?" Evie asked me once she regained consciousness.

"Mate," I said it again, just louder.

"But...how? You can't sense-" I cut Jayden short when I looked up.

"I know. I'm not supposed to be able to but I did. Through the kiss." I explained having Cooper help stand me up.

"Maybe that's what he's going to tell you." Evie assured.

I nodded. "I hope so, I would probably cry if that wasn't what he had to tell me."

As the day went on, I kept feeling this sharp pain on my right arm by my shoulder. When I got home, I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich. When I placed the plate on the bar, this sharp excruciating pain shot through my arm, enough to make me fall to the floor.

Holding my arm I stood up and went to the bathroom. Taking my flannel off, I look at my right arm and saw tattoo-like mark on my arm. At the top it had an image which looked like a dream catcher with a star in the inside and two crescent moons attached to the sides, corners point away from the dream catcher. On the bottom were two mirrored curly designs and a line of very defined feathers. Scattered around the design were small stars, only about ten of them.

Gaping at it, I slid my flannel back on and went to eat my sandwich. I'll tell Chase about it when I see him in a few hours. I thought. Looking at the time, I had three hours before sunset so I decided to catch up on shows I missed this week.

After U caught up on two shows, I went upstairs to change into something that will stretch when I shift. I changed into a pair of dark blue yoga capris and a black sports bra. Forgetting that I had Chase's sweater in my bag, I quickly run downstairs and pull it out of my bag as I brought it upstairs with me. Slipping it on, I zip it up until it sits right under my sports bra. It was huge on me so I took the advantage to snuggle in it.

"You knew this whole time?" I asked, wrapping my arms around his neck. He nodded. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't think you'd believe me after what Braxton did..." he trailed. I sighed and nodded, knowing he was right. It was hard for me to trust any guy, it took me the longest time to trust Jayden and Cooper after that.

When we reached my pack's territory, They wouldn't let Chase in until they saw who he was holding. They sensed my wound and told my dad. Chase got inside my house and the pack doctor ran at me. Chase pulled me close to him and growled. "Mine."

"Beta Murray, I know she's your mate but I have to tend her wound. It won't heal until I can get the bullet out." Dr. Belle, the pack doctor assured. "Can I take Briar and get the bullet out of her leg?" my family ran in and watched.

Chase nodded and Sienna's jaw dropped. "No fucking way..." my mom smacked her upside her head.
