"Of course. Go on. It was great meeting you. You two have to invite me to your mate's packs."

"That won't be hard. They live in the same pack. Mine." Chase said as we walked out. She awed.

"The best friends are staying together! That's great. But still invite me." We nodded.

After getting back to the table, we continued to eat until the bell rang.

When school was over, I met Chase at his car and sped off once the others had joined us. Flynn wouldn't let Jayden and Cooper join because there was something that they couldn't see. Evie and I shrugged it off and said our goodbyes.

When we reached the Umbra pack, we went inside and into the living room.

"I need you girls to go and change into something...athletic and meet us outside in 15 minutes." Evie and I smiled at Flynn's orders as we walked upstairs.

Reaching my room, I changed into a pair of yoga capris and a sports bra, just in case I had to shift. I snatched my jacket off the coat hanger and threw it over my shoulders, zipping it up until it reached right under my sternum.

Walking out, Evie joined me and we ran half way down the stairs and jumped the rest.

Entering the back yard, where the party was held on Saturday, it was filled with other pack members instead of speakers and a stage. They all stopped talking when we reached the end of the patio. Turning towards us they bowed, lingering there for a few minutes.

"I will never get used to that," Evie whispered. I nodded and watched as they opened the center of the yard to reveal four people walking through.

"I lied." Smirking her waved us off.

-just like the old days.- she commented.

-shut up and fight me- I responded smirking.

She ran at me, unhinging her jaw as she jumped on me. She locked down on my neck, a small cut, and I yelped. But her wolf compared to mine was smaller. I kicked her off and nipped at her stomach, enough to make her bleed.

She got back up and we fought back and forth between dodging and actually fighting. My father had taught us to not always rely on your wolf. Dodge every enemy's move until you can find their weakness, which is exactly what I did. She had left her neck exposed and wide open for an attack. I bolted at her and attached myself to her neck slowly closing my jaw. She tapped out and I released my jaw. She shifted back into her human form and I right behind her as she sprinted at me. I dodged her and kicked her in the back of the head as she ran past. She came back at me, aiming for my throat. She clutched her hands around my neck and threw her and I to the ground. Her grip tightened as I looked for a pressure point on her collar bone. When I found it, her arms jellied giving me the time to regain my breath and punch her in the face, followed by a kick to the ribs. I stood in position as I waited for her to fight back but she instead turned around and walked away. I let my guard down and walked towards her to make sure she was okay, by doing that I have her the chance to trip and straddle me to the ground with an extracted claw pointed at my throat. She smiled at me and I smiled back.
