She retracted her claw and helped me up as everyone clapped for us. We slightly bowed until a little girl stepped up.

"Why, hello there. What's your name?" I asked kneeling to her size.

"Alice." The young girl stated.

"Hello, Alice. I'm Briar Stone. What can I do for you today?" The more I looked at her, the familiar she looked.

"I'm 5 and I'm in Kindergarten But I'm the smallest kid in the class. Am I a runt as well or am I just short?" She said holding her little stuffed white rabbit (A/N: Did any of you catch what I did there?) while her mom squeezed her shoulders. She had platinum blonde hair and these grey, kind of depressing eyes.

"Well, I don't really know was characteristics and traits that Runts are usually identified as. If you are a runt, don't even worry about it. Being a runt is really cool because you can beat up all of the bullies in your class that are making fun of your height." I smiled at her.

She gave a little giggle and smiled back. "Thank you Miss Stone." I nodded and looked up from her and over the hedge to see eight pairs of red eyes getting closer and closer by the second. I frowned as my heart began to race as fear coursed through my veins. Chase felt my fear because he turned around and grabbed as many children as possible. I took Alice's hand and guided her inside. I took the kids upstairs to the play room and told them to stay put. Once they committed, I went back down and saw the adults and teenagers locking every door and window in the house.

"They're coming for me." I stated. "I'm a danger to my mate, best friend and now new pack. I can't stay here."

"No. They won't get you. I promise. You just have to trust me" Chase said.

"I have been since the day I saw you." I stated. He walked over and gave me a quick kiss on my lips and watches as Liam put the alarm on and warned the other warriors.

"Everything is locked and armed. Even the pack housing." Liam said. "The Warriors said that the number has gone down since we checked. There's only two left but they aren't werewolves and one of them is moving awfully fast."

"The hunters." I mumbled. I looked at Chase and began to flip out.

{Briar's POV}

"Okay, I'm this far from punching Mr. Darnel square in his sarcastic mouth." I complain as I climb into Chase's car after school.

I take the scissors off the desk and cut the tape off the seals. I pop open the box and see a bunch of old pictures and letters inside along with my old comic books and band posters I didn't even know I still had.

Chase picked up a few of the baby pictures of Evie, Jayden, Cooper and I and glanced through them. He chuckled as he looked at each one, while I was thinking as I looked at a few envelopes with the name Margaret Soyer on the return address and my father's name on the middle of the envelope. I picked up the envelopes and looked through them, all but one didn't have a letter inside. the one that did, I pulled it out and showed it to Chase.

"what's this?" He asked taking the paper.

"I don't know but it's addressed to my father." Shrugging, he begins to read.

Dear David Stone and the family,

I'm pretty sure you don't remember me or my Granddaughter, Frost, your other long lost relative.

I received notice from Frost's Aunt that your youngest daughter, Briar, is the same age as Frost. My idea is that one day we can get them together so they can meet each other.
