"What are you doing here?" I asked as we ended our handshake.
"Wondering why you just got home. Briar?" He questioned.
"Yup."
"How is she? Is she doing better?" He asked.
"Yeah, I found her and I just calmed her down and let her fall asleep in my arms. I took her back to her pack and put her in her room."
"That's great man, I'm happy for you." He gives me a pat on the back. "Does she know that you're her mate?"
"No, not yet." I stated.
"Are you going to tell her?"
"eventually."
"Do you know when?"
"When I feel like she trusts me enough."
He sighs. "Understandable. I know this sucks dude. You'll just have to win her over the old fashioned way." He shrugs at me.
I nodded at him. "Night, Flynn." I tell him as he exits my room.
"night man, see you tomorrow morning."
{Briar's POV}
"Really, Bri?" I groan and push my pillow into my face as my lights turn on, burning my eyes. I hear my closet door slide open, I turn over to watch her. Sienna raids my closet and pulls out an outfit and tosses it on my bed.
"First you get home late last night and now you overslept your alarm?" She walks to the other corner of the room and begins to go through my shoe rack and hanger of purses. "Now that everyone in the west knows that you're my sister, can you please dress like you actually tried in the morning?"
Tossing the purse and the shoes on my bed, she stands back and admires her handiwork with her hands on her hips. "There. That works. Hurry up and get dressed so I can do your make-up." She skips out of my room, closing the door behind her.
I looked at the outfit she layed out for me and I rolled my eyes. I have already decided that I was going to pick out another outfit, I've had one in mind anyway so it worked out. I threw my blankets off and in that moment, I realized that I was still in my dress from last night. Come to think of it, I don't even remember coming home. The last I remember is sitting out on the tree with Chase. He must've taken me home.
I had finally picked out the outfit I had in mind and was about to change when my phone rang. Skipping over to it I picked it up on the fourth ring.
"Look, Sienna may be a stone cold Bitch -pun absolutely intended- but you've gotta admit, this chick has got style. You just turned and you're the baddest bitch in the West now, own it...just for a few days and then you can go back to good old Briar."
"Evie-" I began.
"At least just step into school wearing it. You can change when you get here, I'll help you." I sat on the other side silent, thinking. "Oh, come on. If not for her, do it for me. please?" She begged.
Sighing, I placed the clothes back on my bed. "You better be lucky i love you." She cheered on the other line.
"Let me know when you pull in so I can be ready to help you." She said hoping in her car, I could hear her keys jingling on the other side.
"Okay, will do. Bye, Love you."
"Bye, love you too."
We both hung up and I started undressing. I slipped on the dark blue jeans and the baby pink top before lacing my heels up. I slid my necessities into the purse and put the Faux Fur pink coat on. Applying a light layer of perfume I went to the bathroom to wipe off any excess make-up that was left on my face. She met me and she applied a thin layer of eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara. before she applied lip gloss, I brushed my teeth. I quickly sprayed my hair and combed the messy parts out real quick.
When she finished, she stepped back and admired me. I rolled my eyes and went back to my room so I could pack my extra clothes into another bag. Done, I walked down the stairs to say goodbye to my parents. Sienna threw a muffin at me as we walked out to her car.
We made it to school 45 minutes before the bell was scheduled to ring. Texting Evie letting her know that I was here, I made my way to my friends. As I walked through the hallway, I ended up flipping off every guy that whistled or howled at me as I walked by.
