Nathan walked over and noticed she still had a pencil in her hand, with design drafts spread all across the table.

Nathan reached out and gently lifted Ivy into his arms.

He laid her on the soft bed, then pulled back the covers and got in beside her.

Ivy rolled over and burrowed straight into his chest, wrapping both arms tightly around his waist.

Nathan curled his lips slightly and looked down at her. "Can you behave for once?"

They had gotten pretty wild in this bed more than a few times. Just lying here quietly like this was a first.

But she never stayed still. Her soft body kept pressing against him, and her legs brushed up against him again and again.

Heat started to rise under Nathan's skin. He had never realized just how strong his desire could get.

"Let go. Sleep on your own."

Nathan tried to push her off.

But Ivy clung to him stubbornly, puckering her lips in protest. "Don't move! You're messing up my sleep."

Nathan went silent.

Completely speechless, he reached up and cupped her cheek.
