The spirit walked right up there, causing the crowd to part even though they didn’t need to move. I was right behind and Austin hesitating to come any closer. The spirit wolf hopped onto the stone they had laid Chance resting on as he looked at Austin and me.

‘Care for him more than you ever have. Treat him as if he is your only hope of life left, as if he is the reason the sun comes out and the moon as well. Never take anything for granted, if there is something you want to know, ask him. Tell him how you really feel, hug him if you must. Kiss him gently and hold him as if he is fragile. Mark him if you must, make him yours, and let you be his. For this is your Second chance Austin, and I give no others this privilege. For Pnevma, I grant you this wish. Take my spirit, and lend it to this wolf, for I have served my purpose here.’ The wolf whispered as he went over to Chance’s body, pushing his nose against Chance’s nose closing his eyes as there was a sharp ringing bell in our ears. It was a loud yet faded sounded, as many just thought it was their ears ringing, but it was the spirit. There was a small flash of light, as the spirit started to absorb into Chance’s chest, as well as a figure, from the ground up started to appear, slowly building into the picture, until the light was flashed away.

In front of us, a naked boy stood. His eyes clear like crystal water, his hair long and silvery silky white that blew easily in the small wind. His slight pink lips moist, as he stood about Austin’s height. He was very handsome, a bit feminine but handsome. He stood there, staring at as he eyes glanced upon Austin. Everyone grew in silence as he brought his hand up to his neck, flipping his hair back as he rolled his eyes walking away to the tents. “Better be grateful I gave up eternity for you.” He said annoyed causing me to chuckle a bit. Defiantly Chance’s wolf.

“…Austin?” Chance mumbled sitting up as he rubbed his eyes as if he were just merely sleeping for these past days. Austin really froze now. Mostly with happiness as I watched the tears flow down his cheeks freely. He just stared at Chance as if he was the spirit now. Chance looked so much livelier as he got his color back quickly. Chance glanced at the people, blush invaded his cheeks causing him to bit his lip in. He giggled lightly at Austin, “I guess… that was a bit reckless of me?” He asked with a small smile as Austin nodded slowly, not even sure what to do.

Chance got off the stone going over to Austin as everyone watched, trying to see if this was even real or if we were all just living Austin’s dream. “Chance...?” Austin breath as Chance titled his head to the side.

“Yes?”

“I’m sorry.”

Chance giggled but shook his head, “It’s my wrong, I should have stood put out of harms way in the first place. Thanks for always looking after me, even if I’m a cry baby and a prick.” He smiled kissing Austin lightly on the lips as Austin kissed him back, obviously missing Chance’s touch as he slipped his tongue into his mouth wrapping his arms around him tightly. That, was my cue to leave.
