-Kylie Smith-
I groaned in frustration as Dubstep blasted through the speaker from the window next door. What the actual fuck? It's two in the morning for goodness sake! Haven't this asshole ever heard of sleep?
I rolled over to my right and squeezed my other pillow on the left side of my head, hoping to block the noise that penetrates my ears. But still, I cannot get my peaceful rest.
Having enough, I stood up with anger blazing my eyes. That's it! I've tried to be patient and I've just had enough!
"Turn the music down! Ever heard of the word 'respect'?! I'm trying to freaking sleep here and you're there just rudely blasting your music so loud at dawn! At least plug it in an headphone or turn it off!"
I probably sound insane because it looks like I'm talking to a window, but I'm assuring you that that jerk's inside! He's hiding behind those green curtains! If I'm not tired, I would climb over his window and strangle the life out of him.
As usual, he didn't reply. He continued doing what he's doing and pretended as if I wasn't even there.
"Stop playing the damn music, you disrespectful moron! Did it ever occur to you that some people are trying to get some sleep?! Or are you just plain selfish and stupid?!" I proceeded with my words. If this was cartoon, you would see smoke coming out of my ears.
Then, the curtains were being yanked open and there he stood, shirtless with sweat rolling down his chest, wearing nothing but a pair of sweatpants.
"Take a picture, babe. It'll last longer." he smirked cockily. Dammit! He must've noticed me gawking at him!
I snapped out of my thoughts and glared at him darkly. "No, thanks. Just the sight of you makes my eyes burn and I don't want burn my iPhone. Can you like put a shirt on to look modest?" I rolled my eyes.
"Nope." he grinned, popping the 'p.' "You know how I would do anything to annoy you. You shouldn't have told me that, I was about to put a shirt on, but now, I think I change my mind."
"You're such a jerk, I hope you know that." It wasn't the best comeback I know, but hey, at least I said something!
"Oh, I don't but you just like to call me that."
"Why are you working out at this hour anyways?" I asked curiously. Who in their mind would exercise at two in the morning anyways? Not me.
"I like to be stay in shape, I guess. And I can't sleep. You should try it sometimes, you're looking a bit bloated." he teased.
I scoffed defensively. "Am not!"
"How much do you weight again?"
"I'm not telling you that!" I exclaimed, getting more and more self conscious.
He laughed while doing push ups. I would've drooled all over but I wasn't in the mood. All I wanna do is sleep and dream of Francisco Lachoski a.k.a my future husband. Okay, sorry for the minor details.
I yawned. Right, Ineed to go to sleep. I remembered what I had to talk to him for.
"Would you please turn down the volume? I'm asking nicely now. Please, please, please, I am so tired and I just wanna rest. Tomorrow, I have a big test on Calculus." I feel my eyes drooping and my body going numb.
Sighing, I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes. I must've been half asleep because it was finally quiet. I think he pitied me. Hmm, he can be nice after all. Before I drift into pure unconsciousness, I heard a voice saying, "Sweet dreams, Smith."

"Kylie! Kylie!" a faint voice called me.
"Mmm?" I moaned sleepily. "Five more minutes..."
"Wake up, lazy ass! It's 6:40! You have approximately 20 minutes before school starts!" and with that, I jumped out of bed and dashed out of the room.
"You have 7 minutes before you miss the bus!" It was Paul, my only 12 year old brother who interrupted my serenade sleep. He constantly annoys me to death, but I love him and I would do anything for him.
"Thanks, Lil bro! Remind me to treat you ice cream this weekend!" I yelled before plunging into the bathroom.
My Mom doesn't have a car because she never bothered going to driver's ED, only my Dad drives. And my Dad always goes to work everyday at 5 o'clock in the morning.
"I really thought I was gonna make it," I looked at the ground dejectedly. "If it wasn't for your loud, nonsense, ear splitting music playing so loud, I would've gotten plenty of sleep! This would not happen!"
Aren't I having a great morning start?
"I could drive you, you know." He spoke after a few moments of silence.
I cocked an eyebrow and glared at him, intrigued. "Am I hearing things right or is the Cole Anderson actually offering me a drive to school or do I need to go to an ear doctor?" I emphasized theand crossed my arms over my chest.
"I will drive you so you don't ruin your pretty attendance record," he rolled his eyes, "but under one condition." He clicked his tongue.
"Only if you say please."
Relieved that he wasn't gonna ask me to do anything embarrassing instead, I immediately agreed. "Fair enough." I nodded. "Will you please, please, please drive me to school?" I begged with sincerity. I am desperate and in need! I know it's probably gonna inflate his ego even bigger because never have I ever asked him a favor, let alone begged him for help! But for the sake of trying to have the perfect attendance record that I'm trying to accomplish til the end of this year, I'll sacrifice my pride. Sorry for hurting you, pride! I promise this will be the first and last time I'll ever do something like this.
But to my dismay, he laughed with humor and said, "I lied! The bus didn't leave before you got here. In fact, the bus is leaving about right now." He pointed to the familiar yellow bus I ride everyday, driving away. I watched in pure horror as it rolled away in the distance.
I gasped with my mouth agape. "And there's no way in hell I'm driving you to school. I'm so sorry about ruining your attendance records by the way. Looks like it's not so perfect anymore. Tsk tsk." He mocked with malice and drove off.

"Nice outfit." Brooks, my best friend joked as she nudged me playfully on my arm.
"Thanks. I putted alot of effort into it." I rolled my eyes teasingly and drew the combo of my locker.
"Seriously girl, people are staring at you. I told you that you should bring spare clothes to school just in case of emergency!" she stated, throwing her hands up in the air. "I can't believe you're wearing pajamas right now to school. Heck, I would rather miss the bus and get smacked by my Mom's slippers than to rush and show up looking like..." she crunched up her nose and looked at me up and down, "...that."
