"Would you love to see her again and get back with her?" She pressed on. Fred had unconsciously held her hands and was fiddling with her fingers which was slowly moving her closer to him. It seemed like he wasn't getting enough of her. He was finding it so hard to believe that he was finally with Jayda and could touch her in real life. Not in his dreams or her pictures.
"I love you." He whispered to himself but Jayda heard it sharp and clear.
"Are you kidding me? I'll literally die the next day if that's what it'll take for me to see her again. Jade, I beg of you to please give me her home address because I know you know. All I want is to be with my Freya and our baby once more. I can't keep on wasting my life around." He pleaded desperately.
"Freya is-"
"Right here." Freya completed Jayda's statement, shambling away from the door to the room she had been peeking from.
Jeremy jumped to his feet then his heartbeat rate increased at the sight of Freya. "Goodness!"
"Hi." She waved.
Jeremy walked closer to her then cupped her face. "Wow. Is this what holding someone feels like?" He kept caressing her cheekbone. It felt like heaven to him. The feeling of her was nothing compared to the women he had been hanging around with.
"Mom." Brea groaned, pushing the door to the room then walked to Freya, tugging at the hem of her dress. "Jason wouldn't stop poking me." She cried.
"Mom? What? My daughter?" Jeremy's eyes let out a drop of happy tears then he picked Brea up in his arms, hugging her really tight.
After arguing within herself, "Can we go in to talk?" She requested then Jeremy immediately nodded. She led him to a room then locked the door. For all she cared, she wanted Jeremy back as much as he did. It was what she wanted more than anything in the world. A second chance wasn't a sin, right?
That left Jayda and Fred all alone in the living room. She was contemplating on whether or not to let him know about her sickness and it being the main reason why she left him.
Jayda was so deep in thought and was so shocked to see Fred already on his knees as he called her name.
"What are you doing?" Her heart was palpitating. She was nervous, as well as excited.
"I'm sorry for everything I might have done to hurt you. I promise you that I've been searching for you since all these years. You didn't exactly give me a reason for separating from me. I want you to know that it wasn't my fault that Ally died and it grieves me everyday and night." He held her hands then rested his forehead on her stomach.
Pain struck Jayda on remembering Ally. She had failed as a mother to her daughter. Poor Ally didn't experience the joy of having a mother and died an untimely death.
He continued. "I can't stop thinking about you all the time. You're all I have left. Please forgive me and come back to me. I'll do anything to have you back as mine."
"Let's go to the room." She blurted.
"Room?" He smirked. "Does that mean you've forgiven me?" The thought of having Jayda all to himself struck him and made him do an internal happy dance.
"I can see you're still so bawdy. Room has different functions, you know." She chuckled, helping him stand up straight.
"Oh, okay. I hope it's for the function I have in mind." He teased then they both laughed.
This seemed like a dream to both of them. Were they really reconciling this easily? They were actually laughing and had their fingers intertwined?
Jayda walked to the room with her fingers still intertwined with Fred's. It was a very calming and cute moment for both of them. As Jayda was opening the door, they heard Jeremy's voice as well as Freya and Brea. She prayed they could get things settled.
"Jason, Cole." Jayda called when she opened the door. Jason and Cole were fighting over a jar of cookies so they dropped the cookie on their hands as they caught Jayda's eyes.
"No, I want chocolate." Cole spoke first.
"That's okay. First, meet your Dad, Fred." She said, pointing to Fred who had his jaw dropped to the floor.
"Daddy!" Both boys squealed as they jumped to their feet and ran to Fred, hugging his legs.
Jayda was amused to know that her children knew what a father was and were excited to meet theirs.
"Dad?" Fred looked at Jayda in awe.
"Yeah, these are our 1 year and 7 months old Twins sons. I didn't know I was already five months pregnant when I left you." She shrugged.
Fred picked both boys up, one on each of his arms then he kissed their foreheads and cheeks, ignoring the stains their cookie-stained shirt and hands had on his clothes and lips. "Oh my goodness." His voice was full of emotion as he spoke. He was about to explode. He had been a father for almost two years and he wasn't aware of it?!
