Everyone's eyes shifted to Jayda. She gulped then looked at Freya, signalling for her to help her out.

Freya ended the call she was going to make with the Police then squared her shoulders as she placed her thumbs into her jeans front pocket.

"Jayda, is it true?" Fred inquired, looking very calm and encouraging, as well as loving. He cupped Jayda's cheek, literally pleading for her answer.

"Dave, you've hurt me." Cora spat then turned to walk out of the house.

Staring between Jayda and Cora that was already leaving, it was a hard decision for him but he chose to go after Cora.

"Actually.. .yes." she heaved a heavy sigh.

"How? Why? When?" Fred moved one of his hands to her waist.

"I have had this very serious and incredibly terrible sickness since even before we got married. I didn't have the money to check-up on myself at first but when my mother was sick, I made her go for treatment." She held his hand then led him to sit on a couch, sitting beside him.

She continued, "I knew I was going to die anytime soon because it keeps getting worse everyday. I knew what I meant when I clearly told you that we shouldn't do anything to avoid 'FUTURE REGRETS'. I started going to the hospital stealthily then I was taking things to relieve me of the pain. The doctor said there's no solution but I could keep using medications to preserve my health for the meantime."

Glad he was being attentive, she further said, "The period I asked us to get separated, when I saw you at the hospital with Ally, I had gone to Doctor Claire then she told me that my sickness had gotten worse and I was going to die in less than Eight Months. I didn't want you to be so sad about my death or blame yourself so I made up an excuse using Ally's death and your training Program."

"Really?!" He was taken aback by her words. Sometimes, he had insulted Jayda for being so senseless to have left him for no good reason.

"Yes. Miraculously, I survived it. My condition is extremely worse now and might probably die anytime soon so..." she trailed off, rubbing her palms together.

"You're not going to die. Why didn't you ever tell me?" He said, worrying. There was no way Jayda could die. He thought. Every part of him was throbbing at the thought of Jayda leaving him forever.

"I know it's annoying but I didn't feel the need to." She pursed her lips.

As infuriating as that statement was to him, he was only interested in her being fine. "I promise you that I'll do my best and try everything I can to make sure you're well again. I'll take you to the best Specialists in the World and I promise you that you'll be fine." He said, talking really fast.

"Fred, don't bother yourself over that. All hope is lost and there's no way I can live." She waved a hand over her face and rolled her eyes as she smiled. "Aren't you mad at me and not loving me anymore?" She asked with a serious expression.

"Are you crazy? I love you and forever will." He sobbed, cupping her cheeks.

"I'm going to die-" he cut her off by connecting his lips to her, kissing her passionately and lovingly like their lives depended on it. He was glad that he could feel her lips against his once more. It was fulfilling.

Fred was about to cry at the thought that Jayda was going to die. He was shattered.

Freya squeezed Jeremy's hand then he stared down at her. "Nothing will happen to her, I promise." He said then held the back of her neck, raising her head up by her chin then kissed her as well. Freya was glad that she was going to give me a second chance.
