"I'm not mad at you." Oh my god he cared! I was trying really hard not to jump around and do my happy dance.
He nodded his head. "Good. I'm glad because that's not usually me. I don't just go around with anyone. Not that you're just anyone but..."
I couldn't help but laugh as he struggled for an explanation. "No it's fine. That's not me either. I get it."
He nodded his head with a small smile. "What's your last name?" I asked before he left. I mean I already slept with him, the least he could was tell me his full name.
"It's Dante Di Stefano. And I know you're Williams. I saw it on your credit card." A smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
I bit down on my lip and watched as his eyes dropped down to my mouth. "I'll see you around." He added quickly, like he was trying to snap himself back into reality.
I nodded as he left the room, and closed the door behind him. I had the biggest smile on my face, now satisfied with the way my day shaped up.
I got this gorgeous hotel room which I wasn't planning on leaving anytime soon because that's just how much I loved it, and I got to see him. Things were now good between us. I no longer had that 300 pound weight on my chest.
So I did the only thing a normal twenty two year old would do. I blasted the music and danced all around the room until I collapsed on the bed, exhausted and out of breath.
"What did he mean by it's not good enough?" I asked my assistant, Stephanie. "We have been working on this project for an entire month now. If he wants it to be done over then I am going to need specifics."
"So, how do I tell him that?" She asked me.
I shrugged my shoulders, frustrated. I wasn't mad at her. It was Gavin. Gavin, the stuck up forty year old fashion designer who thought he was above everyone else. "I don't care. Just make sure you get the message across."
I left my office then. I passed by Gavin's office to find him watching a football game. "Good night." I called.
"Skyla! Come here I want to talk to you." Dammit, I should've just kept on walking.
"What's wrong?" I asked with a fake smile plastered on my face.
"Do you know a good lawyer?"
Was he serious? This man was the CEO of a multi billion dollar company. I sure as hell hoped he had a few layers. "Excuse me, sir? I don't understand. Don't you already-?
